Honestly, if you don’t travel much, you’ll have some slight frustrations. If you travel often, this will be one of your favorite places on the planet. A great place for quiet, wonderful staff, incredible location, and memories to take with you to your next destination

Staff great but room needs renovations
The service from the staff was fantastic but the conditions of the room didn’t match the price tag. For almost $200 a night I don’t expect to stay in a room that has a ripped curtain, a very noticeable rip.

Way to expensive for what it is
Go to Cocoe Lodge for the view, nothing else. The rooms are quiet big and comfortable but the bathroom had dubious black spots on the tiles ( probably mold) The biggest disappointment though was the food. It was terrible and we tried a lot of different dishes. The carpe braisée was tasteless, the Kedjenou was basically boiled tomato with a lot of pepper and the “Pizza” was a piece of cardboard with a bit of cheap yam. Oh and your experience wouldn’t be full without the breakfast buffet. Just try the rotten papaya slices

Had some great time. Pool is great room are spacious and clean. Breakfast is good. Food is good but quite expensive and lack choices. We had to wait an hour for an hour for our meal to come from the main kitchen to lodge.

Great property and a nice place to stay overall. The biggest problem was a WIFI outage in our room during our stay, which is very debilitating if you don't have a local phone with internet. The breakfast food was not the greatest either. Aside from that, the staff is great and contribute to an overall good experience.

Le site est paradisiaque, très bien tenu. Le service était parfait, reste que certains éléments du personnel devrait s'améliorer. S'il était possible d'avoir le Wifi dans les bungalows et un système de communication pour appeler le service. Nous avons aimé (les enfants et moi) !!!

Nice stay, but a bit overpriced
Although the lodge promotes lunches and sundowners on the beach part of the hotel, this service was not offered during our stay, as apparently this is not done out of season. The price of the room was quite expensive compared to the status of the room. If I compare with lodges in other parts of the continent, this is really overpriced value/money

We are regulars at Coucoué. You really get a great value with this hotel. The staff is great, the rooms are beautiful and the food is wonderful. I highly recommend this hotel. It is the best in Assinie.

My booked the hotel for my client and they complained about the air conditioner not working, they could not stay at the hotel. They moved to another hotel and since its was a non refundable rates. we have to let go, only if Hotels.com choose to refund us .

Cockroaches everywhere! Room 30 on the night of May 28, 2021. In the shower, on the walls, on the bed, on the headboard, on the table, on the refrigerator, on the bathroom walls, near my grandchild’s head! Constantly for hours we killed cockroaches. It was the most disgusted thing ever! They left bug spray in the room which meant they were aware of the cockroach infested problem but that didn’t stop the cockroaches! We had to spray down the beds with the insect repellent we brought along with us that was meant for our bodies! We also used the whole can of spray! We couldn’t take a shower because we sprayed the bugs off the walls in the bathroom and they floated in the water of the bathroom floor. There was no drain in the bathroom floor for the water or bugs to go down in so my husband had to pick these critters up one by one to remove them. There is NO PHONE, NO INTERNET, NO TV and at 10:30pm there was NO WATER! The restaurant food is overpriced and causes my stomach to be upset and of all the times, we had no toilet water for me to use the toilet. It’s extremely dark at night and you are left on the opposite side of the lagoon. The guy who whistles for the boat to come was asleep when we attempting to catch a boat to get to the main check in area to use a toilet. I finally got a signal from my cellphone and called the front office multiple times and no one answered. Then finally after the 3rd attempt, someone who did not speak English.

Dear Ms. M., We are truly sorry for this terrible experience you had with us. This is absolutely unexpected. No one ever reported any bugs in these rooms and of course we've checked after your departure. We wrote to every customer to remind them that beach rooms don't have wifi or TV yet (installation in progress). You did receive this information. There was indeed an issue with the water pomp and we are really sorry about that. I've been looking for you in the morning to apologize and offer a compensation but I didn't see you. Bonjour, Tout est parfait pour passer un séjour de détente avec la possibilité de s'amuser avec les différentes locations offertes (VTT, jet ski, surf.. ). La nourriture est bonne et le service impeccable dans un cadre et une ambiance merveilleuse. Par contre, si vous devez travailler avec un accès internet, il y a un problème embêtant. Le wifi est non sécurisé et n'est pas très performant, souvent le téléchargement ne se fait pas. Je devais travailler quelques heures par jour alors j'ai dû me connecter à mes données pour faire mon travail et compléter des formulaires contenant des données confidentielles. Sans ce souci, ça aurait été un séjour parfait mais comme la perfection est difficile à atteindre... il devait y avoir un point faible. En le sachant à l'avance, on peut s'organiser différemment en ayant assez de données sur le portable ou en apportant son propre wifi. C'est un endroit accueillant, enchanteur et tout simplement magnifique, j'y retournerai certainement.. avec mon wifi. Bon séjour!!

This hotel is a nice and peaceful place. The staffs are very nice specially the front desk girl named JOSETTE.She’s very kind and helpful. She will always help you with the smile compared to others. I highly recommend this hotel. Un très bon hôtel. Les employés sont très gentils spécialement la réceptionniste du nom de JOSETTE.Elle est très gentille et aimable. Elle est toujours à vos petits besoins avec le sourire.on l’a beaucoup apprécié.Et pour ça ? Je peux vraiment recommander cet hôtel aux autres.

Hôtel paisible et propre mais peu confortable
Point fort : Hôtel très bien situé en bordure de lagune. Difficultés : La porte de ma chambre était défaillante, j'avais du mal à la fermer. Pas de téléphone dans les chambres et pour joindre l'accueil, il faut appeler un numéro mobile ou se déplacer. Le lit est très peu confortable. Le restaurant est super, la piscine aussi et tout le reste.

L'endroit est sublime rien à redire à ce propos, l'hôtel a dû être un endroit idyllique, mais aujourd'hui il tombe un peu en ruine.La première nuit la semaine d'avant nous étions en suite familiale coté plage, l'endroit merveilleux les chambres ont la clim qui sent fort et qui a du mal à refroidir et l'état est moyen pour un prix de presque 250€

Sejour agreable sans plus. Rien d'exceptionnel. Note de 12/20. (+) plage propre, personnel disponible, grande chambre (-) petit dej tres basic. J'ai meme eu une petite indigestion a cause des oeufs. Repas de la St Valentin tres basic. Les jours suivants nous sommes allé manger ailleurs. Configuration de la chambre mal pensée. Television excentré. Climatiseur mal placé. Restaurant sur la plage inutile. Chambre mal equipée. Pas de fer a repasser, de cafetiere, de coffre fort. Conclusion: inutile d'y dormir. Y aller pour la journée sufdit amplement.

De ligging is uniek, de accommodatie is zeer aangenaam en goed verzorgd, het personeel staat steeds ter beschikking van de klant en probeert om het verblijf zo aangenaam mogelijk te maken. Anderzijds wordt privacy gerespecteerd en je wordt niet onnodig lastig gevallen. Mooi zwembad, zeer goede keuken, aangenaam vertoeven aan de kust.
