There is a Greggs just in front of the hotel, and also several restaurants and takeaways in close vicinity. There was double glazing in the room, and hence better insulation. “

„It’s a lovely, quaint place. It was quite remote but that’s just the way we like it.
The rooms were immaculate, extremely modern and tastefully decorated.
A traditional style wee bar which added to our experience. The food was great: staff were superb being both friendly and attentive.
I will return when in the Borders.
Ps the locals who were in the pub added to a great atmosphere.

Ein Abend haben wir unfreiwillig fast 2 Stunden in Restaurant verbracht (mit Kindern 2 & 4 relativ schwierig)
Ohne HP wäre es sehr gut gewesen.
Sauberkeit war allgemein gut, nur unter dem Bett lagen alte Kosmetik-Artikel.
Die Benutzung der Sauna ist auch aus Hygiene-Gründen nicht zu empfehlen...“

Did have free parking. Very old building not handicap accessible. Room was a good size and comfortable. Bathroom was very small couldn’t open the door all the way. Not recommended for older people or anyone who can’t do stairs.“
