Nisqually Suite im Ashford Lodge - Whirlpool und Beamer, nahe Mt. Rainier!

Welcome to the Nisqually Suite at Ashford Lodge! Located in the tiny town of Ashford only 6 miles from the entrance to Mt. Rainier National Park, we are a cozy home base for all of your mountain adventures!

Nisqually is one of three private suites in our guest house, and features a private entrance, log-framed queen-sized bed, big 100" projector screen, river rock gas fireplace, comfy couch, kitchenette, and private bathroom.

The "Ashford Lodge" is an old bed and breakfast that we bought and renovated in 2021, turning it into a fun mountain retreat! There is a big main house, guest house, and vintage trailer "glampground", with a shared hot tub, BBQ gazebo, and gardens.

Nisqually Suite is our most popular room for a reason... The big bay windows look out into lush greenery right above your cozy queen-sized bed, and the big river rock fireplace keeps you warm in its rustic glow on chilly nights. Make yourself a hot cocoa in the kitchenette, curl up with a good book in front of the fire, and watch the birds in the trees outside... Nisqually is the place to relax.

And if you're up for a movie night, you can watch movies from bed on the huge 100" projector! The smart projector is stocked with all the major streaming apps, and we supply a complimentary subscription to both Netflix and Amazon Prime Video. Bring the popcorn and cozy up for an epic movie night!

The room also features a small kitchenette stocked with the basics: coffee maker with fresh ground locally-roasted coffee, sugar, creamer, tea, cocoa, and cider, as well as electric water kettle, a microwave and mini-fridge. There are also mugs, glasses, bowls, silverware, napkins, and a wine/bottle opener.

The bathroom features a shower stocked with top-quality Beekman 1802 shampoo, conditioner, and bodywash. Towels, washcloths, and hairdryer will be ready and waiting for you.

Outside the room, you'll have access to the shared hot tub, tucked back in a private space in our garden away from all the rooms. It's located in a gazebo, so you can enjoy it even when it's raining! The hot tub is shared with guests in our other rooms and is first come, first served; we just ask that guests limit their hot tub time to an hour or so other guests get a chance to relax too.

There is separate gazebo with gas grill and picnic table in our garden where you can grill up some post-hike burgers, and a hammock so you can relax in the sunshine!

Our property also backs right up to Ashford County Park, which features a small network of paved trails that meander through beautiful woods! Follow our small gravel trail (look for the gravel going into the woods between the hot tub and vintage travel trailer) to connect up with the main park trail, and enjoy and nice evening stroll!

We are also walking distance to several dining options and stores here in Ashford, including BaseCamp Bar and Grill (open April-Oct), The Highlander, Whittaker Bunkhouse Cafe, Rise and Grind Coffee, Ashford Pottery, and more!
