Altes, etwas düsteres Gebäude, sehr abgelegen. Unser Zimmer war im Keller und hatte kein Aussenfenster.

Dear Paul. Thank you for your feedback. We are sorry that you found your room dark and the hotel isolated. We are in the forest, in a water reservoir next to El Caminito del Rey. There is another restaurant plus ours, and lots of visitors during the day but at night it's quiet. If you choose a hotel in the forest you must take this into consideration as the closes towns are 20 min away. Your room as described was an interior room and this category has no outdoors views. The rooms are less bright than the rooms with views obviously but the natural light still can come across the window as per the glass dome in the patio. We always recommend to book a Room with Views if coming to this beautiful natural place in the woods because the room is special when you wake up in the morning surrounded by the sun rays through the window on your bed. Reception can always and kindly show you both options on arrival if any availability so that you can upgrade your room to views. We thank you for staying with us.

Schönes kleines Hotel in traumhafter Umgebung
Wunderschöne Region, freundliches Personal, sehr hilfsbereit. Hat uns sogar noch einen Platz für die Begehung des Camonito del Rey für den Folgetag organsiert (aus der CH war der Platz für 3 Monate ausgebucht)!!! Unbedingt zu empfehlen!

Das Hotel liegt in einer sehr schönen Umgebung mit einem tollen See und einer schönen Natur.Mit dem Navi ein bisschen schwer zu finden.Das Frühstück war gut und von der Menge ausreichend.

Really nice as a whole. Not fancy but spotless, quiet and comfortable. Food was excellent. The only issue was we had 2 episodes where the electricity cut out for 10-20 mins. Not sure if there’s anything they can do about that (as it may be standard in the remote location) but it’s worth being aware of.

Friendly staff at check-in and check-out. Conveniently located close to the entrance of Caminito del Rey. Restaurant on-site. Parking on the street is free or a small fee to park behind the hotel. Beautiful building exterior and interior.

This is a nice 3 star hotel in a beautiful location. We found the room to be cold with the tiled floor and the en suite was a bit cramped. We thought that there was private parking, but were told to park in the road. The best feature was the perfect location for walking Caminito del rey and the surrounding national Park.

Really bad
Very disappointed. Very small room, monacal style, so badly designed that it was impossible to close the bathroom door. I had to open the front door to open the bathroom, then shut the front door and the bathroom still would not close.. No reception desk at 7pm, so I had to call several time to 3 different phone numbers for someone to answer and provide a code to open a box and get a set of key. After 15min of wrong instructions the manager called a neighbor to come and help. He eventually managed to open another box after several attempts. A real mess. Then I did not had wifi signal and the wifi instructions weren't updated neither. Contact on the sheet would not help.. 1 towel only for the bathroom, a spare would have been appreciated...also the walls are not so thick, we can hear everything...and for the check out, no needs to detail how long it took for someone to advise on the process, code or anything. I'm still waiting "the women" to advise or collect the keys... At last I left the keys in the room. Not the best neighborhood neither.

You have made a review for the wron hotel. The pictures are from HOSTAL VALLE SOL... we are HOTEL LA POSADA DEL CONDE. our bathrooms doors are not close tho the main doors, the desk is on duty from 07:00am to 23:30pm. we have just one emergency number. We have no boxes with keys and the wifi is always the same. Personnel extrêmement accueillant
Super séjour. Le caminito del rey était exceptionnelement fermé et il y avait peu de clients. Le personnel a été aux petits soins pour nous et toujours disponible pour répondre à nos questions et nous permettre de découvrir la région. Le seul bémol : l'établissement est ancien et n'apporte pas le confort d'un hotel récent. Il reste d'un excellent rapport qualité/prix !

Good for Caminito del Rey
Great location when you want to do the Caminito del Rey, especially if you don‘t have tickets and need to be at the entrance early. Restaurant not the best but ok, since there is not much else in the region
