Gut: Sauberkeit
The host Amanda replied to my questions and requests. This made us think that we węre off to a great start. We arrived in the dark and because there is no lighting in front of the property, we passed it three times. The shack sits back away from the road. There are no markers to show that there is a property. Even when we pulled in and parked it was very dark with one dim light above the door.After entering, and unloading our things we looked at our surroundings. The first thing we saw was a chair at the kitchen table. It had a broken leg and arm which was just hanging out with nails showing. We could not believe that someone would be so inconsiderate of another's welfare to place it there! This really put a bad impression on the whole place. Other items:Too much clutter of pots and pans.Every other pan or pot was dirty and had to be washed before using.Use of all white bathroom towels! There were no instructions for cleaning the towels. We prefer not to have to worry about stains.The busted porch chair was dangerous and cut my arm on it. This oyster shack was an interesting place but very run-down. It needs work!The only thing that we thought deserved a five-star rating was the view!
