Anna Maria Island’s noise ordinance aims to ensure citizens can enjoy a peaceful environment. The ordinance applies to all areas of the city, including public and private property, and places of business. It defines noise as any sound that annoys or disturbs a reasonable person of ordinary sensibilities or causes or tends to cause an adverse physical or psychological effect on such reasonable person. The noise ordinance limits the maximum permissible noise levels to:
7 AM–10 PM: 65 decibels: (Consistently shouting in the pool exceeds 65 decibels)
10 PM–7 AM: 50 decibels: (An audible conversation from 50’ or 15 meters away exceeds 50 decibels)
The ordinance also prohibits plainly audible noise, which refers to any sound that can be clearly heard by a person using their normal hearing faculties. This means that a person can still be in violation if the noise can be easily heard by responding officers from a distance of 100 feet from the property line. Fines for excessive noise can range from $100 to $1,000.

Great house convenient to beach access.

House was very accommodating for our group of 7. House provided a ton of beach and pool supplies that prevented us from having to rent. Fishing pole, pool floats, sand toys, beach buggy, chairs, umbrellas etc. Our son caught a tarpon off of the dock one evening. Pool temperature was excessively warm, almost not enjoyable in July heat. House lacked some Tupperware type of items for taking food to the beach in, but otherwise well stocked. Grill worked great and house was laid out nicely to give everyone their own space. Beds were comfortable. The only issue we had was the ice maker did not make ice, but rental property offered bagged ice during our stay. Hammock broke one first day of stay due to being worn from the weather and sun exposure. House was a quick trip to Willow beach access which always had parking space for our golf cart we rented. Overall would recommend and book again. Beds were very comfortable. We did have to rent a cooler for the beach as one was not provided with the house. Very little to complain about with this property. Pool area was gorgeous and would have been used more if the water was not so hot. Nothing that could have been solved for due to the excessive heat this summer. All in all great place to stay would Book again. Rental company very accommodating and responsive. Pictures are accurate representation of property. On a quiet street with no disturbances during our stay.

Overall enjoyed

The rug and couch could use a good steam cleaning, they just looked a little worn down and gross. We normally wouldn’t spend time in the living room and even notice but we had a few days of bad weather. The kitchen appliances like the blender and food processor and other items were very old and out dated the blended didn’t even work. The rooms were nice and clean, it was a nice spacious house and the backyard/pool was really the cherry on top. We spent every single day at the pool and it was an awesome little spot to hangout when we didn’t want to the at the beach. The only problem we really had was one of the 2 toilets was broken. I got a call an hour before checking in telling me we would only have 1 toilet for two days until it would be fixed. This was a problem sharing 1 toilet amongst 6 adults. I was disappointed I was being notified only an hour before we arrived and no compensation was offered for the inconvenience I had to call several times to get some money back for the inconvenience. Not to mention the problem could have been solved before we checked in. When the maintenance man did come he was quick and quiet and did not disrupt our trip at all.

Nice amenities and central location.

Beautiful property. Some things could have been fixed before hand like the master door not closing properly and the grill not having propane. It is a rental property so these things happen. Nice central location and bay access via the canal. Caught some fish as well off the canal dock. Would rent again for sure.

Great property but could use some improvements for the price

House was just as listed however like the other review on VRBO we believe that it could use some updates for the price that is being charged. The negatives to this house : The furniture covers made the couch uncomfortable. The tv only has Netflix , if you want to watch the news you have to stream it from your phone. There are ALOT of stairs to get to the front door and the pool area. Elderly people would not do week in this home. The pool area could use some nicer furniture options. Under the house is a HUGE room that has an extra refrigerator, this would be amazing as a game room. And a bathroom of some sort downstairs would be helpful. The trash was overly full when we arrived so we dealt with tons of flys! The positives: The dock outback was awesome! We docked our jet skis and it was just a short ride to the marina . The house is stocked with just about anything you will need while there. The rooms are spacious. The pool area is beautiful! It was hands down the best part of the house. The beach is a short walk. About 10 minutes with kids. Overall we had a great stay. Keep in mind we come every year to AMI. for the 4th of July for our annual family trip. We would stay at the house again if updates were made but for the price there are plenty of other updated houses with more bathrooms and more modern furnishings.

Beach vacation dream with a great location

This house is just 2-3 blocks for the center of Anna Maria. We almost never used our car once arriving. (They did let me use an outlet to plug in an electric car, thanks!) The home had been recently fixed up and it had what was needed for a place to stay in Anna Maria. It’s a 4 bedroom home with 2 bathrooms. One bathroom is in the master bedroom and the other is between two of the bedrooms. Everything is on the same floor which is technically the 2nd floor as the house is elevated. The pool was very nice and brand new and they have just put in new landscaping that should grow in nicely. The house is also on a canal and had a deck on the water. We rented kayaks from beach bums to cruise around in mornings and evenings. It was awesome. I really think if this house had a designer and they put a little more money in it it could be really amazing. Felt like they got it flipped and ready for rent which works but the property could be awesome. I’d like it if they changed the bulbs to a softer hue than bright light LED but I didn’t mention this to them while staying. Could use some new furniture and ditch the boom box for a Sonos. Also a newer 4K tv for the living room. It’s got a lot of potential. It also has great views of the sunset from the second floor screened in porch. It was everything we expected but I really hope they put a little more into it to make the most of it. The management team was also very responsive and helpful with any questions. Neighbors were very friendly. It’s a great beach house!
