We enjoyed our stay while in town for Eau Claire Marathon weekend. Very close to downtown Eau Claire - only complaint was the cleanliness of the pull out sofa. Lots of hairs on it but there were clean linens to put on it - must have just been overlooked.

The guy at the front desk was not helpful or driendly at all. We were early and he said our room wasn’t ready, that is understandable check in is a t 3. Then we came back at 230 to se if we would be able to check in he told me if I wasn’t a hotel member we would have to wait until 3 to check even though or room was ready . Very unfriendly and the next morning we saw that they had a drink and appetizer hour he didn’t tell us about that. Everyone else was very friendly with the exception of him.

The suite was clean, comfortable and the bed was comfortable. It would be nice to have an exhaust fan in the shower/stool area. There’s a vent but it doesn’t seem to move much air. Otherwise this is a real good place to stay.

Facility was getting older and bathroom was dirty. The elevator that leads to the patio area was not working and I was told it was to be repaired last week but they never showed up. My wife who is handicapped had a very difficult time getting to the room Long distance to walk.

Staff odd and not that accommodating...
I found the staff to be a bit off. Not the friendliest. Asked for a bit of a late check-out on Sunday. Was allowed only 45 minutes later. Found this stingy and also the attitude was as if to brush offf.... Hotel is sprawling and no parking adjacent room so had to walk three sides of hotel to get to room and then on the 3rd floor...
