Idealer Zwischenstop
das Resort bietet neben der guten Infrastrucktur (ausserhalb gibt im Ort von Alpine nur wenig)auch gutes Restaurant an mit ausgezeichneter Küche. Das Resort liegt in ruhiger Lage am Snake River. Der grosse Indoor-Pool mit Hot-Tub war auch sehr angenehm.

sehr schönes, am Fluss gelegenes Resort. Ideal für ein paar Tage Pause während einer Rundfahrt. Fahrt nach Jackson ca. 1 Stunde durch wunderschöne Schlucht. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten Lebensmittel ca. 5 Minuten entfernt in Alpine. All you can eat Breakfast okay und in ansprechender Umgebung (Kamin, runde Tische, Porzellangeschirr, Besteck).Zimmer mit kleinem Balkon; gepflegte Anlage. Restaurant habe ich nicht ausprobiert.

gepflegte Hotelanlage
Obwohl das Hotel gleich an einem Highway Richtung Jackson und Grand Teton liegt, geht dieser unter. eine große Kreuzung in der Nähe senkt den Verkehrsfluss. Die Hotelanlage ist sehr gepflegt mit und mit Restaurant und Bar/Lounge ausgestattet. Das für uns bestimmte Zimmer war Sauber und mit einem Balkon ausgestattet. Durch das doppel Queenbett-Zimmer war ein weiteres Waschbecken im Zimmer, damit sich zwei gleichzeitig Männer rasieren können.

Nach anfänglichen Schwierigkeiten (das elektronische Schloß unseres Zimmers ging nicht mehr auf, bekamen gleich ein anderes Zimmer) war der Aufenthalt sehr schön. Zimmer sauber und schön, Betten bequem. Frühstück war einfach gehalten( ohne Waffeln). Wenn man ein wirklich sehr gutes Steak essen will, dann hat man die richtige Location.Hier haben wir das beste Steak gegessen-> der Preis lag in der gehobenen Klasse, was es auch Wert war.

Das Flying Saddle Resort liegt ideal .
Wir sind begeistert. Obwohl gerade an diesem Abend ein Gewitter übers Land zog. Sehr netter Empfang, schönes Zimmer, gutes Steak im Restaurant, aufmerksame Bedienung durch Gene, den Waiter, günstiger Preis: Was will man mehr? Sehr empfehlenswert! Die Lage als Motel für die Durchreise zum Yellowstone ist ideal.

The Flying Saddle was adequate but is tired and could use some upgrades. The room was clean but had a strong odor of cleaning products that was objectionable. The room heater was loud and kept us awake. Pillows were lumpy. The staff was pleasant and helpful and the restaurant was fine and the wait staff attentive.

Check in was nice and easy and the woman was helpful and courteous. My only complaints include that a pick up truck with a utility trailer parked parallel directly in front of our ground floor unit, so our view was of a utility trailer. And the parking area lights were extremely bright so we had to lose the curtains.

Restaurant seemed expensive so we did not give it a try. Luckily there are someone affordable places to eat less than a mile away (we went to Driftwood Pizzeria which we enjoyed). Staff was all extremely friendly and the beds were comfy
