The space
Welcome to Peterson Paradise—an updated, rustic retreat with breathtaking views of Placer Valley and room for up to six guests. Step onto the wraparound deck and take in the crisp mountain air, sip a warm drink by the firepit, or unwind in the private hot tub beneath the stars. Inside, the open-concept living room features a cozy fireplace and a game loft with a vintage arcade system for nights of nostalgic fun.

The chef-inspired kitchen is equipped with modern appliances, a Traeger smoker grill, and everything needed to prepare meals with ease. Dine indoors or outside while soaking in serene forest views. A dedicated workspace with monitor and high-speed Starlink Wi-Fi makes it easy to mix business with pleasure—perfect for remote workers or extended stays. Set the mood with the cabin’s classic record player and Smart TV setup.

The main-level primary suite offers a king bed and spa-style bathroom with a jet tub for ultimate relaxation. Upstairs, you’ll find two additional bedrooms (1 king, 1 queen), a loft with a twin trundle bed, and a second full bath. Plush linens, soft towels, and extra blankets are provided for a restful, cozy experience.

Peterson Drive offers ample, convenient space to park your RV, fifth-wheel trailer, or recreational vehicle right on-site. Please note, while there’s plenty of room for RV parking, RV power hookups are not currently available. This cabin provides an ideal balance of comfort and adventure, perfect for enhancing your camping or road-trip experience. Whether you’re taking an extended journey through the area or seeking a comfortable break from your outdoor adventures, our cabin is the perfect retreat.

Other things to note
As part of our safety and compliance process, all guests complete a brief identity verification through our trusted screening partner after booking. In some residences, check-in staff or front desk personnel may also confirm your ID upon arrival, similar to standard hotel procedures. We do not host guests under 25 at this location; the primary renter must be over 25. These measures ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone.

Guests are also invited to enhance their stay with a curated selection of premium in-home services; including chef-prepared meals, wellness experiences, and private transportation; coordinated exclusively through our hospitality team. Additional information about available services will be shared after your reservation is confirmed.

Early check-in and late checkout may be available upon request for an additional fee, subject to availability. Please inquire in advance so we can best accommodate your schedule.

Open fire pits and any outdoor open flames are strictly prohibited by Park County regulations due to wildfire risk. This includes campfires, wood-burning fire pits, and fireworks. Violations may result in fines, eviction, and loss of security deposit. Thank you for helping us keep the area safe!
