„Das Hotel befindet sich etwas außerhalb von Faversham (ca. 5 min. mit dem Auto) und ist sehr modern und stylisch. Mit den beiden Restaurants und dem Golfplatz hebt es sich von vielen Alternative ab. Die Angestellten sind super freundlich und hilfsbereit. Der Indoorpool bietet auch bei schlechtem Wetter die Möglichkeit sich die Zeit zu vertreiben. Die Zimmer sind nicht sehr groß aber für 2 Erwachsene und 1 Kind ausreichend. Insgesamt sehr empfehlenswert.“

„A lovely small hotel in the very center of Canterbury. It is an old, cozy building very well maintained, spotlessly clean and the owners are extremely hospitable. Breakfast included. Beds comfortable and it was quiet, everything was more than I expected and I'd definitively recommend staying there.“

Lack of air conditioning in the Executive level room - as the room was on the top floor it was quite hot in the evenings (even in the unpredictable British summer). Otherwise a spacious and comfortable room and enjoyable stay in Kent.“

The only problem is that there are no (free) parking spaces around. We were contacted a few days via e-mail before our stay by the hotel, which can provide you with a discount for one of the pay-parking lots.“

„Nähe zu Altstad, sehr freundlich, Gebäude von 1267 und Zimmer, Bad in englischem Stiel, kein Nobelhotel aber völlig ok. Nur kein Parkplatz aber kann in 8min Entfernung, Fußweg, über das Hotel gebucht und beahlt werden. Frühstück war auch ok.

„Beautiful remote place to stay, just 5 minutes by car from the city center of Manchester. The manor is embeddet in a nice garden with sufficient distance from the main street to keep the noise away. The cosy rooms are clean and provide sufficient space for a relaxed stay.
The low water pressure caused the water to drip from the showerhead and made showering a challenge. This should be improved.“

The hotel is located in a zone that cannot normally be accessed by cars, but in the evening ist was still possible for unloading. There is parking available near the hotel at additional cost. The breakfast (continental style) was nice and rich, the staff competent and friendly. We would come back.“

"We had a great stay at this place, Mr. Holmes lives right next door, so just in case we needed help, he was available to us. The neighbourhood is quite, yet supermarkets are in 5 Minutes driving range or even just walking.
