Sehr schönes Hotel, große komfortable Zimmer, eher schon eine kleine Wohnung. Sehr freundliches Personal (bis auf eine Ausnahme 😉). Die Gegend drum herum hat uns an unsere Florida Urlaube erinnert. Einzig der (indoor) Spa Bereich hat nicht ganz unseren Vorstellungen eines Spa Bereiches entsprochen.

Lichtdurchflutete Lobby - düsteres Zimmer
Das Hotel hat eine beeindruckende Lobby mit Lichthof. Das Frühstück wurde im Wintergarten-Restaurant "Peacock" in sonniger Atmosphäre serviert. Trotz Nebensaison gab es viel Auswahl am Buffet - und auf Wunsch frisch zu bereitete Speisen. Die Mitarbeiter sind freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die Zimmer sind sehr geräumig - nur die Möblierung in Braun-Orange drückt auf die Stimmung, vor allem abends, da helle Lampen fehlen. Laut Rezeption sollen die Zimmer nach und nach neu gestaltet werden. Ein Mietwagen ist unbedingt empfehlenswert, um bei den (nicht ganz unerheblichen) Entfernungen zum Strand/Einkaufen/Ausgehen etc. nicht ständig auf Taxis angewiesen zu sein.

Sehr schönes Hotel, einfach zum wohlfühlen
Alle Ziele z.b. der Flughafen, die schönen Strände und Orte und das Meer(20 Minuten zu Fuß) sind mit dem Auto gut zu erreichen. Man fühlt sich dort einfach wohl. Die großen Betten sind ein Traum und super bequem. Das Personal ist immer sehr freundlich und bemüht und das Frühstück lässt keine Wünsche offen. Auch die nähere Umgebung ist sehr gepflegt. Auf jeden Fall wieder.

A good hotel with excellent staff. The bathroom light average for women in the master bathroom and also she was not a fan of the hairdryer. Some terrace paint work needed repair and I thought a little mean one small bottle of water for two people in two nights not 5 stars with these small details

Loved this hotel. They did an excellent job on everything! Very clean. Very top-notch. Pool area was beautiful. Food was wonderful. Food was slightly expensive but still good. Area is very beautiful and safe. Little bit of a walk to the beach so more difficult if you had children in the off-season. The shuttle they run to the beach doesn’t run in the off-season and the pool bar is not open in the off-season just so people are aware. I think if I went again, I would come in a slightly warmer time. But everything was excellent! Definitely five star. The VIP benefits almost seem irrelevant. They did acknowledge them, but had no extra upgrades available and we typically don’t take advantage of spa services. Would be nice to include some basic amenities in VIP plan?

It’s secluded with not much to do unless you’re a golfer. We went to the driving range less than a 10 minute walk. That was a nice diversion. We also took Uber to Vilamoura and Loulé for day trips. It’s a good 25 minute walk to the beach so be prepared. There are great walking trails into the Ria Formosa on the way to the beach. Highly recommended but note there are no amenities or bathrooms. The property and staff are top notch. Room on the sunset side was luxurious. Pool area clean and comfortable. Happy hour much appreciated at the comfortable bar. Make sure to visit the indoor pool and jacuzzi and the “hot chairs “ around the pool. Quite relaxing! All in all a great stay for a week in February.

Superb.
From start to finish our stay was superb. We were on an early flight and arrived at 930am to be offered complimentary breakfast and use of spa etc until our suite was ready. We had dinner in the restaurant ( rather than the bar ) one night and again food superb and service excellent. Staff could not have been more pleasant whilst professional.

All very good except: Despite being emailed 2x asking regards room preference ( upper floor room) , when we arrived, clearly nobody had actioned our request and, at first, reception resisted resolving the issue. Lovely, modern hotel, extremely clean & generous-sized rooms. Food was a little disappointing, the poolside food was a bit limited in variety & despite coming down to breakfast half an hour before it ended, there was barely any hot food left, and the staff appeared to have stopped making any more. Lots of guests were queuing up for a cooked breakfast & looking bewildered & disappointed that it had clearly finished.
