Golfresort am Meer,ohne Ruhe und Entspannung
wir erhielten einenUpgrade in ein App mit Pool. Wohnung innen ist top. Pool war auch sehr schön. Leider ist man in dem neueren App Komplex immer komplett auf dem Präsentierteller. Sowohl zur Strasse wie den Nachbarwohnungen sowohl im wie in den Nachbarhäusernbist alles offen unds gibt eentlich keine ruhige Ecke. Verkehrslärm von der Strasse war morgens und abends etwas störend. Beschattungsmöglichkeiten fehlen.Strand sehr schön,Poolanlage na ja. Wenn man Golfer ist vermutlich paradiesisch,ausserhalb der Anlage springt einem die Realität von Almancil (herruntergekommen) ins Gesicht.Für mich das falscheUmfeld ,war aber mein Fehler bei der Auswahl.Snobby posch ist nicht meins

Sehr angenehm
Waren in Val do Lobo zum zweiten Mal. Zimmer d.h. Studio (Küche, Wohnzimmer) sind sauber und sehr angenehm. Werden sicher wieder in dieses Hotel zurückkommen, das nächste Mal in Portugal.

Das Apartment war so weit vom Strand entfernt, dass man per Auto fahren und den Wagen auf dem kostenpflichtigen Parkplatz abstellen musste. Das Apartment selbst war bei Bezug voller Mücken, Mückennetze Fehlanzeige. Bei der Ankunft ging gleich die komplizierte, veraltete Alarmanlage los. Das Licht sich nicht anschalten, da der mit der Zimmerkarte zu bedienende Hauptschalter einen Wackelkontakt hatte. Nachts warfen betrunkene Jugendliche Steine an unser Fenster. An der Rezeption erhielten wir bei Anreise nur 3 Gästekarten, obwohl wir 5 Personen waren, da wir die Kinderpässe nicht dabei hatten. Bei der Reservierung war hiervon nichts erwähnt gewesen. So kam es, dass wir beim Pool eine Viertelstunde lang um zwei weitere Handtücher betteln mussten. Es gäbe Regularien, die schwere wögen als unser Wunsch nach einem Handtuch pro Person. Service mangelhaft. Restaurants und Minigolf auf dem Gelände des Vale do Lobo sind heftig überteuert. Wir werden das Resort in Zukunft auf jeden Fall meiden.

Our unit was moldy, patched up from water damage, the shower leaked all over the floor, there was no housekeeping so there was a charge (12 euros) for fresh towels. To be fair we were not charged for the fresh towels after I told reception that I had used our towels to mop up the floor after the shower leaks. To top it off- there is charge to use the in-room safe. The resort shuttle (apparently only 1 small van) cannot handle the guest traffic after dinner so wait times were unacceptably long. It's a beautiful resort but needs some service and architectural upgrading. Many rental units are privately owned and offer short term rentals (like ours) so you get what seems leftover. However- the front desk staff were quite accommodating and friendly and informative in addressing our issues even though corporate polices tied their hands on being able to address some of the issues we encountered.

One of the best value for money stays that we have had recently. The studio was of great size, we had all of the british tv channels, the resort has great view points for both sunrise and sunsets and has a lot paths for walking

The staff acted like we were doing them a favour by letting us stay there. Our villa shower was leaking and there was extensive wall damage, so it had been happening a while. Leak was all the way into the kitchen so if gone unnoticed anyone could have slipped and fell. Pool tiles were falling off into the pool and we were stepping on them Had to take a shuttle anywhere we wanted to go (beach, etc) Noisy neighbour with dogs barking all the time and TV blaring outside Don't recommend.

Although this was a beautiful property it is currently next to a large construction project so lots of hammering and saws throughout the day. The resort is gigantic, there's only one shuttle van, we waited up to 15 minutes a number of times to get yo various locations. The pool service is the worst on the planet, six male servers wandering about lost. The restaurant prices are very very expensive, the FG ood mediocre however the people are nice. The resort staff were always friendly and helpful. This place is really designed for golfers, spend most of the time on the fairway and minimal time at the room. If you do decide to book here bring lots of cash and good earplugs.

Dining at restaurants along the beach and to the east and west of VDL was excellent. Highly recommend were Bold Octopus, Passeo2, Bovino, Brooks, and the Cheeky Pub and for fun was BJ’s Beach Club. Live Music everywhere. The Villa was equipped with small but full kitchen, washing machine, iron and hairdryer. Shuttle staff was always on time and most courteous. Ubers were great as well! A yes, we must return!

Completely equipped and really functional. Used as a base for four days golfing and worked very well for that. It was a bit soulless, but it was in great condition and it would have been great even for cooking in, which I didn't do. No instructions for the TV and some streaming kit, but otherwise good. The power did trip while I was there, but the VdL staff fixed in within hours.
