Wir haben uns wohl gefühlt. Nur im Scwimminspool muss man um seine Liege kämpfen. Wir hatten schon Meinungsverschiedenheit mit anderen Gäste.

Gutes Hotel in Top Lage
Das schicke Hotel steht nahe an einem Wohnviertel in dem größtenteils Portugiesen zu Hause sind und am westlichen Ende des hübschen Sandstrandes. Der ist direkt über eine Treppe zu erreichen. Das Restaurant liegt im untersten Stock an einem Spazierweg. Das macht den Charme aus. Morgens draußen in der Sonne frühstücken mit Blick übers Meer, Einheimische eilen zur Arbeit, Möwen schreien auf dem Geländer sitzend. Cool! Anschließend auf Klippen oder im Hinterland wandern oder am Strand relaxen und abends in 2 Minuten in der Altstadt bummeln. Das ist Urlaub!

Außer der Lage nichts besonderes!
Das Hotel liegt interessant und die Zimmer zum Meer sind ok, die zur Straße sehr laut und die Klimaanlage sehr schmutzig von innen ! Pilz ist sofort zu sehen ! Sehr muffige Luft im Korridor, es sind keine Fenster dort. Alles in einem " Es geht für ein paar Tage" aber nicht länger.

Excellent. Rooms were okay, would have liked to see them a little cleaner and to have complimentary shampoo and soap in bathrooms. Beds were very comfortable and overall can't complain. I would certainly stay there again.

ideale lage, aber mittelmässiger komfort
wir haben unseren Urlaub in diesem Hotel schon auch genoosen, hatten uns allerdings von dem Zimmer mehr erhofft und waren vom Frühstück enttäuscht. wir haben ein zimmer aus der günstigen Preiskategorie gebucht und mussten uns folglich eine mini-Terasse mit anderen Gästen teilen. das Bad war zwar geräumig, aber es gab nur eine kleine Badewanne, die nicht täglich gereinigt wurde. Das Frühstück war sehr fettig mit wenig frischen Zutaten und Dosenobst. Die Lage des Hotels ist allerdings so gut, dass wir es wohl wieder buchen würden, allerdings ein grösseres Zimmer wählen würden.

Das Hotel liegt super direkt fußläufig zur Altstadt aber doch weg vom Trubel. Der Blick auf's Meer ist kaum zu toppen. (Sonnenaufgang inklusive) Das Zimmer bietet guten 3-Sterne Standard mit bequemem Bett, großem Kleiderschrank und etwas - der Meernähe geschuldeten - Abnutzungserscheinungen. Das Personal ist sehr nett und bemüht, den Gästen alles recht zu machen und bei kleinen Beanstandungen abzuhelfen, ohne dabei devot zu wirken. Das Abendessen als Option spontan zubuchbar zu vernünftigen Preisen (10,- €) ist ein redliches Angebot und qualitativ gut. Frühstück ist landestypisch bzw. am englischen Publikum orientiert aber mit Obst und Müsli bietet es auch etwas für den Deutschen Gaumen. Die Bar bietet ein gutes Getränke und Cocktailangebot zu vernünftigen Preisen und ab und zu Lifemusik. Was richtig störte war, dass nach wenigen Tagen eine Gruppe deutscher Pauschaltouristen anreiste und das Hotel quasi "übernehm". Grupppen stören einfach häufig, so auch hier. Ohne diese Gruppen wäre das mein optimales Hotel für den Kurzurlaub.

Ideal for a short 2-3 business trip, hotel is quite limited especially around the pool, if you can get a lounger its great, i had a shared communal balcony, which was fine for me, however couples may wish to request rooms with your own balcony Food i couldn't fault and the staff were attentive..needless to say there is abundance of food options in the old town and main square too Beat feature of the hotel is by far the view looking out onto the beach etc

Hotel itself was overall satisfactory. Premium room was extremely spacious and comfortable. The shower was first class. Excellent location, near town centre and the lift to beach. Breakfast options limited particularly the small amount of fresh fruit. Bufffet area itself had little space in which to circulate. We found the pool area unattractive and used the beach. Our stay was spoilt by the theft of 4 sets of earrings from our room. These were taken from a pouch in a zipped bag from our room which was only accessible with an issued key fob. Other valuables fortunately were in the safe. The manager was defensive and dismissive when we reported the theft and would not accept any responsibility. He tried to convince us that a theft had not occurred. We reported the theft at the local police station, GNR, who we found very helpful. We would not recommend the hotel because of this incident and the response of the manager.

Terrible customer service and extremely rude staff, please avoid this hotel. They charge you to €2.60 a day to use the safe, won’t give you glasses for the room and they no longer supply rituals toiletries. Breakfast was shocking and again restaurant and bar staff obnoxious…I was a returning customer after an amazing stay last year…this year I’d say this is a shock to see so much the hotel has changed for the worse 50 cents charged for them to ring you a taxi too. I would say spend your money elsewhere This is over rated and over priced as a 4 star it’s a 0 star from me

Excellent location with the beach nearby and Old Town walkable too. Our sea view was stunning. Quiet area with good area to sit outside restaurant. Rooms comfortable, pillows very lumpy, walk in shower very good, didn’t use pool as not enough seating around it. Breakfast not great quality, pancakes nice but other items not so good. On arrival there was no easy option to get your case up a few steps both at front door and from reception to lift. Staff were a little unhelpful, one or two were very good but on the whole they did not come across in a positive way. Cleanliness was very very good. Top marks to the hotel for levels of cleanliness. Overall we enjoyed our holiday but would probably have breakfast elsewhere if we returned.

Nice hotel
Hotel is situated in a great place with only a few hundred yards to the main strip and Square. Hotel is very clean and tidy with rooms cleaned every 2 days. Adults only hotel so not so noisy as others, but I will say that we had a room right above the pol area which could become quite noisy in the afternoon. We had B&B and the breakfast was a good standard. Apart from that I will be booking The Rocamar in future.

I really enjoyed my stay at Albufiera Rocamar Exclusive Hotel. I had a prime corner room with an ocean view, 2 double beds together and balcony. The room was lovely, clean and spacious with beautiful ocean views. The staff were generally very helpful and friendly. I was a bit disappointed with the spa. There was a maintenance issue with the hot tub, such that it was not hot at all. The pool was filled with water, but the water was freezing cold such that it was not possible to go swimming. Also, during a booked massage treatment, there was construction work going on right next door which dramatically impacted my ability to relax and enjoy the massage. I was also a bit disappointed with the hotel restaurant. The manager didn't allow my travel companions to eat breakfast at the restaurant (even though they were prepared to pay the 15 Euros per person) because they were not guests at the hotel. I found the breakfast menu was lacking in healthy choices (very little variety of fresh fruit, and no cooked oatmeal or grain cereal etc), and there were no pastries. However, the location of the hotel was excellent and the cleaning staff were very attentive. They replaced my wet towels every day. If you are willing to venture out somewhere else for breakfast and dinner, then the hotel was a very pleasant place to stay for a week.

We spent 4 nights at Rocamar in August, 2022. We usually stay at the Tivoli in Carvoeiro when visiting the Algarve, but wanted to branch out this trip for something new. The beauty of the property is not adequately seen from the front or even the back, but from the beach below the cliff. We had an oceanfront room with a balcony. We were actually directly above the pool and a great view of it, too. The room was spacious although the bedspread and decor appears to have been from the 70s. We spent a lot of time at the pool bar and esplanade bar and want to give a big shout out to Vinny & Paulo, both of whom treated us with excellent hospitality daily. The buffet breakfast was a welcome morning fuel source for our cliff hikes and hours on the beaches. It included an array of fruits, vegetables, meats & cheeses and hot items catered to the British. The milk for cereal was warm and the Delta coffee machine was a disgrace to Portuguese coffee, however. A wonderful man sanitized every table daily. Speaking of coffee... There are no coffee pots in the rooms and none in the lobby. Breakfast isn't served until 8AM, so if you want coffee before then, you have to go into Old Town to get a cup. There's an excellent pastelaria, Barhon, just 5 minutes away. One annoying thing about the hotel is access to the property before 8AM. The esplanade entrance is below the lobby. You cannot enter or exit the property from the esplanade until 8AM.

Great location!
Great check in. Easy and very pleasant. Room was ready early. On departure, we had to vacate the room by 12pm which was very generous! There is a shower and toilet provided along with a fresh towel so you can use the pool or go down to the beach while you wait for your late flight. Very convenient and a huge plus! Breakfast was OK, depends on what you like. Pool area is small and you have to bag a sun bed before breakfast which I think is an awful way to carry on. However, it came to ‘if you can’t beat em, join em’! This area could be made bigger and much more pleasant. Great views! We would stay here again anyway. It’s a really convenient spot!
