Could be nice, but badly managed
We were early, but were received friendly and given one of our two reserved rooms (condition okay, a bit in need of repair for the terrace door and some paint, but with lots of space), the baggage was brought over, all fine - until, an hour later, we were told we would have to move, because "the current guest does not want to vacate the room". We were placed in two other rooms, half the size of the previous one (though better condition, air con working well) and facing the street above the main entrance, so very noisy over the day (be aware if you book standard room with 'garden view'). At least they tried to meet our request to have two adjoining/interconnecting rooms. However, having eaten at the pool bar (and restaurant in the evening, food is fine, though not 5star) we were approached by the waiter later at the pool, saying we would not have stated the correct room number (of course we did - BEFORE we knew about the move) and reception claiming they did not know about our move so they could not rectify it! We are aware that we were only staying for one night, so we were certainly not a priority, however, on our last day of the holidays, I was hugely disappointed about the way everything was managed and about a hotel that claims to be 5star. It should have been a treat at the end of our Algarve stay, but finally it cost a lot of money only for spoiling our last day.

Gutes Hotel mit schönem Pool und Garten
Das Hotel liegt zentral und ist trotzdem ruhig gelegen. Sehenswürdigkeiten und Natur sind schnell zu erreichen. Es empfiehlt sich auf jeden Fall ein Mietwagen zu nehmen. Kostenfreie Parkplätze waren immer vorhanden. Das WLAN auf dem Zimmer funktionierte einwandfrei. Das Frühstück war sehr lecker, leider gab es aber keine frisch zubereiteten Eierspeisen.

Schönes Hotel mit Schönheitsfehlern
Insgesamt hat es uns im Hotel gut gefallen - sehr schöne Parkanlage und ansprechende Zimmerausstattung. Gutes Frühstück. Weniger gut - laut Aussage der Rezeption sind alle "Zimmer zur Gartenseite" sowohl zur Gartenseite, aber auch zur Straße ausgerichtet. Leider nicht so idyllisch und ruhig, wie wir es erwartet hatten. Strand ist schön, aber in der Einflugschneise zum Flughafen Faro. Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis ist noch "OK". DZ mit Frühstück: EUR 240 pro Nacht in der Hauptsaison

Tolles Hotel und super Service
Wir waren Mitte Oktober dort - leider hatten wir etwas Pech mit dem Wetter - aber im Wellness- und Fitnessbereich konnten wir uns wunderbar die Zeit vertreiben, bis die Sonne wieder herauskam. Sehr zuvorkommendes Personal und ein toller Service!

Ruhiges und komfortable Hotelanlage in Strandnähe
Wir hatten einen 5 tägigen Aufenthalt und waren sehr zufrieden mit der Ausstattung und insbesondere dem Hotelservice. Das Frühstücksbüffet ist ein Traum. Das Hotel liegt erhöht mit einem tollen Blick auf den Atlantik. Ein kostenloser Shuttle brachte uns immer zum sensationellen Strand. Alles in allem werden wir das Hotel wieder buchen und können es sehr empfehlen.

Our second stay at the Ria Park and my wife, daughters and myself enjoyed it tremendously once again. Comfortable rooms, great swimming pool, first class breakfast, super well equipped gym, great views, helpful staff and much more. Only one tiny thing lacking and that would be a coffee machine in the room.

We booked this as a last minute & weren’t sure what to expect. We rally liked the Ria Park, it was immaculately clean, breakfast was fresh and delicious with a great choice of food. The shuttle to the beach was excellent and always available. Given it was late July the were always beds at the pool and the hotel never felt crowded. Very peaceful. Staff were very helpful and friendly. We will definitely return.

Clean spacious relaxed- really excellent swimming pool very well maintained. We dined in the restaurant 3 times- the food was very good. The service professional. Breakfast was a high standard and a wide choice. We used the adequate gym and booked massages.The grounds were pretty. Our room was perfect for the price and maidservice was excellent. My biggest gripe was lack of atmosphere in the evening. British cover songs ( Yes we can tell) don’t work. There was a pianist playing non atmospheric music a couple of times. I’ve come to Portugal and would prefer to hear Portuguese traditional music as a backdrop, and in the evening more of the same, or some background jazz suitable for the cocktail bar. It’s dead in the evening and I couldn’t see much being done about it. Happy hour? Canapés/ lanterns and candle light/ more sophisticated music/ better house wine…it’s not hard. Wine tasting evenings for an hour with local cheeses? A show if traditional Portuguese snacks? You might fill your restaurant more on the back of it? Anyway just ideas from my travels all over the world. I did have a good week overall many thanks. Ps- the shop which could be a goldmine selling traditional baskets pottery and Portuguese wares was pretty empty. I bought a glass bead bracelet from a choice of just 7. So now there are 6. Baffling. What a waste!
