"The Loon" at Darling Shores

Welcome to "The Loon" at Darling Shores!

This is a cozy two bedroom, one bathroom cabin located on the fabulous Lake Darling in Alexandria, MN.

Lake Darling is notably the most peaceful lake on the Alexandria "Chain of Lakes". Through Lake Darling, you have boating access to several others including Lake Le Homme Dieu and Lake Carlos.

The property itself is known for an incredible lakeview, dock, and family fun. Darling Shores is the incredible getaway you've been looking for!

This cabin features two bedrooms with sleeping arrangements for up to 6 guests, one full bathroom, an indoor dining area, and a great sized living room. Guests will have access to a children's high chair, pack n' play, books, and board games!

In one of the bedrooms, you will find a queen sized bed, and a trundle bed (two twin beds) . The second bedroom also has a queen sized bed. The living room couch can be used as the seventh sleeping spot should you need it. Please note that the cabin sleeps up to seven but is most comfortable sleeping six.

Guests will have access to shared amenities on the property which include a full playset for children, a large dock, and a huge balcony! Also provided are yard games such as corn hole, cruiser bikes, sand toys, and a floating swim raft.

Parking Details:

Each cabin has two designated parking spots. The spots are labeled with the cabin number on the pavement. "The Loon" is cabin number three.

Guest boats are welcome and encouraged to dock at the property!

About Lake Darling:

"Lake Darling is a 945-acre basin located on the northwest edge of the city of Alexandria. There is no public access on Lake Darling, but boaters can gain access via a navigable channel from Lake Carlos. Fishing is good on this lake for northern pike, largemouth bass and bluegill. Other fish include walleye, rock bass, perch and crappie."
