Staff were very friendly and accommodating. Our room faced the road/freeway and was noisy all night long, very little soundproofing thru all the glass windows/patio door. However we travelled with friends who stayed on the opposite side and said it was very quiet. If you stay there request a backside room if you want to sleep.

Staff was great. Our first room had so much wind coming in through closed windows that the curtains were vigorously moving, & there was whistling through the ac unit. We had to change rooms at 1:00 a.m. Hotel needs an update. I was not a fan of the $20 resort fee. I have stayed there numerous times & that was new.

Liked the artist room we had to be moved into when we found an 8 inch Centipede ready to crawl into bed with my wife and myself. Staff was helpful moving us into the artist room. However, with two children and and two adults it was rather tough fitting into one king size bed and trying to be comfortable. We ended up finding another hotel for the second evening of our trip to Albuquerque.

Tried to do an early check in around 2:15pm and was told there is no check in before 3pm. I asked to use the restroom in the lobby. I came out of the restroom about 10 min later and two families were being checked in…I then approached the desk again to check in and was told I had to wait an hour for my room which they’d selected and couldn’t for some reason select a ready room.Very unwelcoming staff. Not helpful to newcomers. During check in no info was given about the property or hours. I had to ask about pool hours, restaurant, wifi, etc. The carpets smell, the drapes, all of it. It’s dark and dingy. Save your coins.

I appreciated the decor of the hotel. It has a unique style that reflects the history of the area - the native American paintings in the rooms as well as the exterior of the hotel. The staff were great. What was missing was a exercise room, which the staff said they had before but removed because of covid. They should bring that back.

We were in one of the art rooms and it was very unique. Unfortunately there were lots of dust bunnies behind the night tables. They offered to move us but we had already settled in and were too tired to move.

We have stayed here many times over the years and have always enjoyed our stay. This time it seemed like things had gone downhill. There were several issues that seem Like the could’ve been easy fixes. With a little more attention. The hot tub was only about halfway full, and cool. We stayed for three days and it seems someone could have fixed this in that time. The mattress pad was filthy and looked like it had vomit on it. A little ore attention to detail and this found be a nice place to stay.. I hope they can get it together!

Property did not have the room we reserved. Clerk was very insistent on providing a “cancellation number” and offered no alternatives to remedy the situation. “You booked through a third party and you need to address any concerns with them”. After expressing my frustration, we were offered a king bed with a roll away.

I usually only leave a review if it's going to a positive one but I feel like this hotel could be decent if management cleaned up their act. So maybe some honest and constructive criticism could be beneficial. The hotel itself was very dated and not the cleanest. There were stains on the walls which probably just needed to be cleaned, the carpet had obviously not been vacuumed, and the drapes were dusty. The rooms are advertised as recently renovated and painted by local artist but I was told that those specific rooms are only available as upgrades and are limited so that was misleading as those were the only pictures advertised on their websight. Also, we had no hand soap or tissue when we checked in (which they were out of), we were missing an iron and the ironing board was broken..plus we had to pay a $20 Amenity Resort fee which I'm not sure what this was for other than being able to redeem one free local beer (per person) at the front desk each night of our stay which was a good idea to help promote for local breweries but that was a steep fee for that little "perk". The pros were that the beds were clean and comfy, the bar was cool and the entire staff was super friendly and helpful ..I feel that they do the best that they can with what they have...this to me is honestly a reflection of management/owners. Overall it's all in the details for me which can make the biggest difference. Hoping they work on these improvements because for the price it could be a fair motel.

Albuquerque is a tough area but this hotel was safe, well-lit and fun. The ambiance was very cool and while the building is a little old the decor is really fun and the staff goes above and beyond.

Half of the TV stations didn't work. There was no phone in the room. No way to contact front desk. There was no coffee in the morning as promised. The additional lock (chain lock) got stuck. The bed frame sticks out way past the mattress.

The hotel needs a lift, elevator is very dirty, very limited toiletries available. Restroom has basics but outdated. The restaurant needs privacy, we were not excited to eat there. The hotel feels old and not well taken care of. We loved the art in our room and is definitely what brought us here. The tv is small in the room.

So Nativo is our place! We love it! Yes the elevator is got it's quirks, but the artist rooms are amazing and the staff are pretty chill (miss u Bella). The only hiccup this time was the new restaurant.. definitely different from what they had before!! Restaurant staff was rude, unorganized and we felt like we were totally inconveniencing them.. I mean I asked for a glass of water and was told they'd shut down the machine and couldn't get me one... So I walked out of the restaurant to the bar and grabbed a bottle.. total incompetence! Luckily the hotel is near a good number of restaurants so this next stay, well be eating out.. But I highly recommend the bar, bartenders are very skilled, make excellent drinks and super friendly! And if you do decide to stay, and can, dish a few more bucks out for the artists rooms, they're absolutely gorgeous!!!!

The hotel was a great place to stay, confortable, convenient and everyone there was extremely helpful and friendly. Only criticism: the wifi signal was weak in my room, and it could have done with a booster.

i have stayed at the Nativo Lodge on several trips through Albuquerque. The staff are always helpful, the rooms are clean, and the location is convenient. I recommend the Nativo highly.
