Cozy Lake Mountain Escape Cottage- Fire pit, Large Deck, Community Lakes & Pools

A cozy chalet-style ranch in the gated Indian Mountain Lakes community with pools, lakes, tennis, and basketball courts. Perfect for year-round family fun with skiing, snowboarding, tubing, hiking, and historic Jim Thorpe nearby. Enjoy a spacious deck with grill, outdoor dining, and a backyard firepit. Walking distance to the pool, minutes to lakes, and 15 minutes to Big Boulder Mountain and Lake Harmony.

This warm and inviting home accommodates up to six guests with three comfortable bedrooms, one full bathroom, and a pull-out sofa in the living room. Natural light fills the open living space, complete with an indoor fireplace, Smart TVs, and board games provided for cozy nights in. The kitchen is fully stocked and features stainless steel appliances, hot water, and essential toiletries, making it easy to prepare family meals. Two bedrooms each have a queen bed, while the third bedroom includes a single bed and a floor mattress. For additional sleeping space, the living room sofa pulls out to a bed.

Step outside to enjoy the spacious front deck with outdoor dining, a gas grill, and plenty of fresh mountain air. The backyard firepit is the perfect spot for roasting marshmallows or gathering under the stars. With free parking on the property, you can come and go with ease as you explore all the Poconos has to offer.

Guests will have full access to the entire home, shed, and all community amenities.

Guests must provide the full names and addresses of all individuals in the reservation at the time of booking so we can register your stay with the HOA. The HOA requires this information at least two business days before arrival.
*Reservations made less than two business days in advance, or guest information submitted late, will incur a mandatory $75 HOA administration fee. Entry to the community cannot be permitted until registration is complete.

Beyond the community, Whitetail Ridge is only a short drive to many attractions:

Other things to note:

Whitetail Ridge is not pet-friendly. All community amenities are subject to seasonal schedules, weather conditions, and HOA rules. Guests are welcome to bring their own kayaks and outdoor gear for use on the lake. The home is stocked with bath and beach towels, a Keurig and a drip coffee machine with K-cups and filters, as well as essential toiletries to make your stay easy and comfortable.

If you are planning to use the Association amenities, wristbands are $10 per person and can be purchased directly at the community office:

After 2 PM on Saturday and all day Sunday, wristbands can be purchased at the Seneca Pool Snack Shack (cash only).

- MAIN LAKE

Main Lake is our largest lake in the development that spans 45 acres! It is also 4 ft deep and has a great fish life for our avid fisherman (permits required)!
There are also several different playgrounds for our younger members.
Please keep in mind that the ropes are not put out for swimming until early summer.

Seneca Pool

- BOULDER LAKE
Boulder Lake is the fan favorite among our members! It is 9.4 acres wide and can go to almost 12 feet deep!
Boulder Lake also features a playground area, boat racks and even a volleyball net.
Please remember that swimming is allowed when the ropes are put out in early summer.

- FISHING LAKE is 3.3 acres wide and 4 and a half feet deep and is a favorite for fishing! In fact, every year we hold our annual Fishing Derby at this very lake!

★ NO SMOKING INSIDE ★
Smoking of any kind (tobacco, cannabis, vaping, e-cigs, etc.) is strictly prohibited indoors. Violations will result in fines of $200–$2,000 plus cleaning/repair costs. Smoking is allowed only outdoors and butts must be disposed of in receptacles. Smoking in the hot tub or damage to outdoor furniture will also incur fees. Smoke detectors and outdoor cameras (per VRBO rules) help enforce this policy.

★ NO PARTIES/EVENTS/FIREWORKS ★
Please treat the home as your own. Quiet hours are 10 PM–8 AM. Fireworks, firearms, hunting, and trapping are prohibited.

✷ Essential: Septic System – Flush toilet paper only. Non-compliance may cause system failure and result in damage charges.

✷ Check-out is 11 AM sharp. Late check-out is $50 per hour, billed in 30-min increments.

✷ Trash must be bagged, placed in bins, and bear boxes latched. Animal mess or excess trash will result in fees ($25–$500). Prohibited items (furniture, electronics, debris, trees) incur removal fees starting at $100.

✷ Guests must be 22+ to book and stay. A government-issued ID may be required.

✷ Linens are provided: beds have protectors, comforters, blankets, and quilts. Towels include 6 bath, 2 kitchen, and 1 hand towel per bath.

✷ Outdoor surveillance cameras may be present for security.

✷ Community amenities (pools, lakes, courts, playgrounds) are shared—please be respectful.

✷ Parking only in the driveway; no grass or street parking. ATVs, motorcycles, and dirt bikes are not allowed on the property.

✷ Cleaning Fee – Covers routine turnover. Extra charges (min. $50) apply if left excessively dirty, with photo documentation provided within 14 days.

✷ Starter supplies include paper towels, toilet paper, trash bags, soaps, sponge, detergents, and dryer sheets.

✷ Guests are responsible for any fines issued by local authorities, HOAs, or townships during their stay.

✷ A rental agreement may be required to confirm your reservation.
