Die Anlage ist wunderschön am Berg in Airlie Beach gelegen. Bis zur Promenade und der Hauptstr sind es nur 5 min Fuß. Die Appartements sind geräumig, komplett ausgestattet und sauber., auch wenn die Möbel teilweise ein paar Jahre älter sind. Absolut toll ist der (fast immer leere) Infinity Pool mit großartigen Blick auf das Meer. Morgens vor dem Frühstück, als auch tagsüber und abends ein Traum. Die Hosts sind super, eine tolle Unterkunft in die wir jederzeit wieder gehen würden.

Ganz nettes Resort mit einigen "Schwachstellen"
Das Resort ist in Ordnung, aber auch nicht außergewöhnlich. Die Apartments sind schön. Im Vergleich zu anderen Resorts an der Ostküste ist es nicht herausragend, obwohl es wirklich in Ordnung ist. Ich würde jedoch nicht mehr dorthin gehen, da es extrem am Hang liegt und intensives "Bergsteigen" bei dem dortigen Klima nicht angenehm ist. Weiterhin gab es während des gesamten Aufenthaltes kein ordenlich funktionierendes Internet. Entgegen der Ansicht der freundlichen Frau am der Rezeption möchte ich im Urlaub darauf nicht verzichten. Sie meinte, es wäre ja nicht ganz so schlimm, da man ja hier sein um Urlaub zu machen. Sehr schön ist zweifellos die Aussicht auf Airlie Beach von den Balkonen. Andererseits hat man von dort auch einen "direkten Draht" zu den Diskotheken unten im Ort, zumindest was die Beschallung der Umgebung betrifft. An einem Tag fing die Musik bereits nachmittags um 14 Uhr an und lief bis in den frühen nächsten Morgen; und das kann man alles in bester Qualität auf dem Balkon mithören.

Thankyou for your recent review. We did recently experience some difficulties in regards to our complimentary in-house Wi-Fi which has since been rectified. We are located 300m from the main street, at the top of a steep hill which does allow us to capture the magnificent Coral Sea views from the apartment balconies and pool area. We are happy to assist our guests with car hire recommendations or alternatively the local taxi service will bring guests back to the resort from the main street for approximately $6. During office hours our reception staff are more than happy to assist guests up the driveway in the buggy's. Once again thankyou for taking the time to review Pinnacles Resort

Wow!
Wow! Super Ausblick vom Balkon, Apartement und Pool auf das Meer!!! Super tolle und gepflegte Anlage. Genau das richtige um zu relaxen. Wenn man überhaupt was kritisieren könnte, dann vielleicht dass unser Whirlpool nicht aufm Balkon, sondern im Bad war. Das sollte man bei der Buchung aber dann direkt mit anfragen.

Schöner Blick auf Airlie Beach
Hotellage ist an einem Berg, aber man hat eine sehr schöne Aussicht auf Airlie Beach. Der Pool ist horizontal, wunderbar und abends kommen dann die Kakadus und trinken am Wasser. Sehr schön anzusehen. Die Zimmer sind geräumig, jedoch war das bad offen, somit hat man nicht viel Privatsphäre beim Duschen, naja für verliebte Paare vll. kein Problem... Ansonsten auch schöne tage dort erlebt und schöne Aussichten auf die Bucht.

Super Hotel mit steilem Aufstieh
Das Hotel ist super. Wir haben jeden Tag genossen. Der einzige negative Punkt, welcher mir zu diesem Hotel einfällt, ist dieser extrem steiler Berg der zum Hotel hinaufführt. Sobald man an der Rezeption ist, kann man sich per Hotel "Taxi" hochfahren lassen. Sollten wir nochmal nach Airlie Beach kommen, werden wir auf jeden Fall wieder in dieses Hotel zurück kommen.

This was a beautiful view, spacious rooms, and the private spa was the icing on the cake. The only downfall was that the hill is VERY steep to walk up, and as it had been raining it was VERY slippery on the pebblecrete and easy to fall. I slipped a couple of times, and my husband did also. I would suggest a little stair walkway or some other kind of material that isn’t so slippery. Or offer little golf buggies for guests to use on the property- like management do. In saying that.. we managed and we would still stay here again! Just be mindful if you aren’t up for a walk, and wear non slippery shoes.

Amazing relaxing stay at Pinnacles
Very clear after hour check in instructions. The view from our sub penthouse was absolutely stunning and the deck was furnished with ample beautiful wooden furniture. The unit itself was very clean and body soap/shampoo/conditioner was provided in big bottles. Front desk staff was very helpful with booking a cruise to the Whitsunday islands. I would highly recommend Sealink. Yes Pinnacles is up the hill and I wouldn’t recommend walking up or down if you are unfit or have mobility issues, however, a taxi to Airlie Beach costs between $6 -$8 each way. Woolworths, coffee shops and restaurants just down the road. When we checked out, we called reception and they picked our luggage up in a golf cart. Would definitely return and highly recommend if you are looking for a quiet relaxing place with beautiful views in Airlie Beach!

The property and views are one of the best we have ever seen. Although the incline to get to the room is very difficult the views and rooms are well worth the climb. Much easier if you have a car. Difficult climb is difficult on foot

Best place for long needed RnR
We had a absolutely wonderful stay at the Pinnicals over the Christmas Holidays, My husband and I need so RnR, and this was just perfect, our view was amazing, the room was large and spacious. The Pinnicals team sent recommendations prior to our stay that helped us with bookings for outings, and recommend we order our seafood for Christmas before arriving, so glad we did. They even left us a little welcome and thank you pack for our Christmas booking, such a sweet thought.

We stayed in a one bedroom Jacuzzi Suite and it was stunning. The view from the balcony is one of the best you will get in Airlie Beach. Located at the top of a steep hill but my wife and I walked up it regularly to burn off those calories from eating out. I would definitly stay here again just for the views.

Anniversary trip
Amazing and perfect!! This describes everything from communication, cleanliness, staff helpfulness, quiet and location. Officer staff also help decide on activities, plus booked for us which also saved us money on ticket costs. The views were above and beyond what we expected, and nothing short of breathtaking. Cannot recommend this place enough, and will definitely be back!!

The views are great and the property itself was fine and as described. The only downside was the driveway is VERY steep and there is no footpath/steps or handrail down to the road. This is easily solved by taking a taxi but this does make you feel 'locked' in. So only suitable for the fit or make allowance for taxi costs. The taxi drivers were excellent and really friendly. There is a taxi call button on site which is easy to use.

Wow was blown away by this reaort. Our apartment was amazing, huge balcony, outside eating and lounging area with the added bonus of a hot tub. Comminication was excellent and on check out we could leave our bags at the office, they even dropped us into town. One thing you should note is that it is on a very very steep hill but the taxis take you up for between 6 and 10 Aus dollars so was never a problem. It is so worth being up high for the spectacular view. Couldnt recommens this place enough.

Really enjoyed our stay. They room was clean and tidy and beds very comfortable. Pool was super relaxing and peaceful. Our room was up at the very top so was a climb to get there and my sister was unable to walk the next day due to pain in her legs, but the view was amazing and she came right after some rest. Tour bus and bus transfers were only able to drive us to the bottom of hill so we had to climb the hill of a driveway and stairs a few times. We were able to get taxis when going out for dinner. Resort is close to shops and restaurants however still needed to use taxis for the driveway as the climb became too much especially after a day in the sun. They do have a golf cart to help with luggage during office hours but we did find after hours took awhile before we were able to get any help. All in all we all enjoyed our stay and the place was clean, amazing views and people were really lovely.

The staff members looked after us throughout our stay at the Pinnacles Resort as they did everything to make our holiday much easier and carefree. Some visitors reviewed noted the Pinnacles located at the very top of the hill, the only way to get there is a long steep road. Personally it is not a big of an issue, a taxi ride from most parts of Airlie is always below $10. If it has a 180 view on the very top of Airlie beach why would one even complaint?

This is lovely to hear. The hill is absolutely worth it for the view. The taxi's just make it a little easier for those not wishing to walk. We would love to welcome you back at some stage in the future.
