„This was our fourth trip to the river house. This time we went to celebrate my granddaughter who turned 13 and my daughter who turned 30. It was a wonderful week full of fun, adventure, hiking, swimming/playing in the river, s’mores, food and games. This is the absolute best place in the world for quality family time. „Overall the stay was great the beds could have been more comfortable. I woke up a few time sweating due to the mattress cover.when we walked down to the river there was a bunch of broken glass from beer bottles it looks like. We cleaned it up. Wonderful cottage though. “

„Loved staying at the Birds and Bees Cottage. It was so peaceful waking up each day, sitting on the porch and enjoying the views of the farm. This cottage was the perfect spot to unwind after visiting some local wineries. It was quiet and very easy to relax on the porch with a good book in the evening. Hope to return in the fall. “

„Beautifully decorated and super clean. They’ve thought of all the little touches. Location is perfect, around 7 miles outside of town but in the peaceful countryside. We sat on the porch watching wildlife in the back. There are vineyards and breweries in all directions. We visited Monticello and even mountain top orchards. Owners were great. We will be returning. “

„The Plainfield Cottage is a perfect getaway. We came in for a graduation and were quite busy. However, each time I stepped into the cottage, it felt peaceful, bright and clean. A great retreat to unwind and relax at. Cathy was very attentive on any needs we needed, as there were few because it was well stocked.“

"Positiv: Valet Parking Team toller Einsatz, Service und Speisen in der Sportsbar Negativ: Verhalten der Rezeption beim Empfang. Danach hätten wir schon Abreisen können. So ein Umgang mit einem Kunden geht gar nicht! Sauberkeit: Haare der Vormieter in der Dusche. Schimmel ebenfalls in der Dusche Türe am Balkon war nicht gangbar und konnte nicht verschlossen werden. Frühstücksservice. Es ist scheinbar ein Fehler ein Frühstück hier zu buchen. Es hat lange gedauert bis wir klären konnten, dass 20 Dollar angerechnet werden bei einer Bestellung. Ein Frühstück ist dafür aber nahezu mit Steuern nicht zu erwerben in diesem versnobten Haus (Kaffee, 2 Toast mit Marmelade, 2 Eier und ein Orangensaft, was wir als normales Frühstück beschreiben würden, geht nicht). Kaffee dann kalt und abgestanden. Bedienung max. unfreundlich "
