Our cozy getaway is ideally located at the heart of the Catskills, offering easy access to all the region has to offer. Originally designed as a farm structure, our thoughtfully renovated home exudes artistic design and provides a truly memorable upstate retreat. Rest assured, air conditioning units have already been installed to keep you cool during your stay.

Step outside onto the patio area, where you'll find a welcoming outdoor dining space and a BBQ grill, perfect for celebrating achievements or savoring delicious homemade burgers.

There are two designated outdoor parking spots available. 

• OUTDOOR •
The home has an open deck area, a picnic table and chairs, a fire pit, and an outdoor shower! A nature lover's home!

• SECURITY & SAFETY FEATURES •
Our property is equipped with external security cameras to ensure guest safety. Rest assured, no cameras are present inside the home. Please also note that we have noise monitoring devices that do not record audio. Additionally, smoke alarms and fire extinguishers are provided for your safety.

• OTHER AMENITIES •
The home comes with free improved and high-speed wifi, board games, and smart TV with streaming apps.

NOTE: Staircase - While some may find the staircase between the 1st and 2nd floors slightly steeper than usual (just a few centimeters higher than regular stairs), guests have an alternative via the side entrance, bypassing the need for stairs entirely.

The most convenient way to get around Accord is by car. If you have your own vehicle, simply follow the local roadways and highways to reach your desired destinations. Accord is easily accessible via Route 209, which connects to nearby towns and attractions.

While there is no direct train service to Accord, you can consider taking a train to nearby towns and then arranging for alternative transportation to reach Accord. Metro-North trains provide service to Poughkeepsie, which is approximately 30 miles away from Accord. From there, you can rent a car or take a taxi to reach your destination.

Taxis are available in the area and can be used for local transportation within Accord or for transfers to nearby towns and attractions. You can find local taxi companies by searching online or contacting the local tourism office for recommendations.

It's important to note that public transportation options in Accord may be limited compared to more urban areas. Therefore, having a personal vehicle or arranging for private transportation in advance is often the most convenient way to navigate the area.

HOUSE RULES
Please make sure that you go through the house rules prior to booking. 

• PETS: Pets (dogs/cats) are allowed for an extra pet fee of $100 per pet. There is no weight limit, but you are allowed a maximum of two pets. The unauthorized bringing of pets will have a penalty of $300 which will go towards the deep cleaning of the property.

• CHECK-IN: Check-in time is after 4PM. Early check-in requests are subject to availability and cannot be guaranteed. If we're able to accommodate an early check-in, there's an early check-in fee of $50 starting at 10 AM. Please check the availability of early check-in prior to booking.

• CHECK-OUT: Check-out time is before 11 AM. We do not allow late check-out as we schedule cleaning ahead of time. Any unauthorized late check-out will result in a charge of $50 for every 30 minutes.

• SMOKING: We do not allow smoking inside the property or in outdoor spaces including the balcony, backyard, and terrace (if applicable). There is a smoking fine of $300. 

• NOISE: Please observe quiet hours after 9PM. Please be mindful of the neighbors as this property is situated in a quiet neighborhood. If the police are summoned due to noise complaints, this warrants a possible eviction with no refund.

• DAMAGES & LOSS: We would truly appreciate it if you could treat our home like yours. You will be responsible for any damages or loss to the property which will be deducted from your security deposit. Please advise us of any damage or loss immediately upon discovery.

• UNAUTHORIZED GUESTS: Please make sure to book the property for the correct number of guests. Parties, events, or any kind of gathering are prohibited. Given the COVID-19 situation, no other guests outside the reservation are allowed on the property.

• MAILS & PACKAGES: We do not allow any mail deliveries or packages during your stay.

• BBQ GRILL: Please note that guests are kindly requested to clean the BBQ grill thoroughly after each use. Failure to do so will result in a BBQ cleaning fee of $200 being applied.

• PRE-CHECK IN FORM: Guests will be required to fill out a pre-check-in form which will require additional documents to validate the age and card used for the reservation prior to arrival. Guests booked through Airbnb are not required to fill out the pre-check-in form.

• RENTAL AGREEMENT: Guests will be required to sign a rental agreement prior to arrival.

• ADDITIONAL NOTES ABOUT THE HOME
 - BBQ Grill: We provide propane tanks for the BBQ. Please note that guests are kindly requested to clean the BBQ grill thoroughly after each use. Failure to do so will result in a BBQ cleaning fee of $200 being applied.

Quiet escape
We took a weekend to get away from the city. It rained all weekend, so we couldn't explore much, but we loved holing up in the cottage to get some work done and relax. Our dogs loved snooping around the yard and curling up with us at night. Thank you, we'll be back!
