„Only stayed for one night as in the area for business purposes. Had an evening meal in the bar area and the food was excellent. Room was clean and nicely decorated with all amenities provided. Staff were professional and courteous. The breakfast was superb in the morning although I did not have much appetite early on I wouldnt have gone hungry if I had been ready for food. „We were meeting friends to go to the Highland games and there were little lodging available at a reasonable price. I was a little concerned about the bothies based on earlier reviews but we all loved it. One friend was very tall and in a bothies with lower ceilings so they offered a different one but they didn't mind. We all enjoyed the wood stoves, the environment, and the beds. „We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Birch Cottage, what's not to like? It is spacious, well equipped and tastefully furnished. The aura of the cottage is very warm and friendly and it still feels like the house is inhabited by a happy family. We especially enjoyed the combination of the open kitchen, dining area and living room.
