„Self-check-in without issues.
The shower in my bathroom was broken, I was moved to a different room with a functional shower in the bathroom.
Room and bathroom clean.
The room heating was intermittent, at times a bit chilly in the evening.
The breakfast was fine, but rather spartan. None of the breakfast items stereotypical for the UK: no baked beans, no sausage. Also no cheese, no bacon, no salami, no tomatoes, no cucumber.
Friendly and helpful staff though.“

„Hotel is a bit of a misnomer for this place: it is nice and convenient but it certainly is not a hotel. Guesthouse would describe it best. The check-in is automated and there is nobody on the premises. For a stop it is nice if you don't need the fascilities of a regular hotel. “

„Ein altes Gemäuer mit Treppen und unebenen Böden, ABER das Vintage-Design macht sehr, sehr charmant. Dazu das BESTE Frühstück, dass ich in UK bisher bekommen habe, mit einem super-freundlichen Service, der einen auch 2min nach Öffnung schon herzlich willkommen heißt. Leider konnte ich nicht länger bleiben. “
