"The property was great, unfortunately they stuck us right above the pool which was being repainted. the fumes from the resin were making us sick. They put a sign in the lobby the day the pool was being worked on to apologize for the awful toxic smell. No advanced warning whatsoever. Thankfully Franck the front desk attendant was able to move us to a better room farther away from the pool. He was the bright spot at this place and the only reason I give it 4 stars. "The Staff were 10 stars. They couldn’t have been more helpful. The Hotel is fabulous. Its history and its up to date style now are fantastic. Beautiful infinity Pool set in well cared for gardens. Indoor pool for serious swimming. So photogenic. Took many photos. The small private beach is a real treat. Cuisine is wonderful from breakfast to their special Chef’s menu. There’s no need to leave this heavenly haven. A perfect relaxing sanctuary. "

"The amenities at Belles Reves are incomparable. Excellent care of the room by staff. I did notice a stain on the sofa as well as the wall paper was peeling off on the archway in the room. I let the hotel staff know. "

"The staff was terrific and offered a great deal. The only incident was when the staff that did the laundry charged over 70euros more as they checked a box on my laundry sheet stating I wanted expedited service. And the laundry came back wet. They quickly resolved the issue by taking away the upcharge and taking our clothes back and drying them completely."
