„Eine wirklich außergewöhnliche Unterkunft. Einsame Hütten wie ansonsten nur aus Filmen bekannt. Den Abzug gibt's ausdrücklich nicht für die Unterkunft selber. Man sollte aber zu der Umgebung wissen, dass dort wirklich rein gar nichts ist. Eigentlich genau was wir suchten, aber das gilt leider auch für Wanderwege, die man mit dem Auto anfahren muss. Außerdem sollte man genau darauf achten, welche Hütte man bucht. Wenn keine Küche bzw Kühlschrank vorhanden ist, ist man nämlich zu 100 % auf das ...

„We were happily surprised with our rental. We didn’t know what to expect and were quickly charmed by this little farm house. It had many updates and yet, many original features. It is nestled among other little farms and yet, within 5-10 minutes of a grocery store. The host provided plenty of towels, bedding and amenities that were helpful to our stay. „This cabin is so close to being amazing. It's a great location for getting into Sequoia National Park and is secluded enough that you can set up some chairs and enjoy some quiet stargazing. The cabin itself was clean and had everything we needed. The only problem was the bathroom was falling apart to the point that we avoided using it altogether. If the bathroom door hinges were fixed and the walls made more permanent this would be a perfect place to stay“

„This was a little slice of magic as our base for visiting Sequoia. A heads up that being less than 10 miles from the park actually means that it'll take you an hour of switchback driving to get to the General Sherman tree, but the drive up (and back) is spectacular as you get up into the mountains. The house is well put together, and there were nice touches like having dishwasher tablets ready to go, and plenty of coffee pods.
