Wer Afrika kennt, weiß, dass nicht immer alles perfekt funktioniert wie in Europa. "We booked 5 days in the SeViBoutique to relax after Safari. Usually we would not spend our holidays on Zanzibar. SeVi Boutique: excellent!!! Very polite, friendly, respectful personal. Mindfulness is the keyword. Our seaview bungalow was a great place to rest. The complete SeViground is tropical, beautiful, well gardened. The food is fantastic. An example: you get your your Cappucino from a good Italian Machine, you can choose between cowmilk or Soyamilk.That gives an impression of the place… Prices like normal European prices.
We have been on the Malediven numerous times. It remembered us of good Malediven Ressorts. Of course you are in Africa…
The bungalow has a good aircondition, there is a really big Moskitonetz over the bed. Not so close and small that the air feels compressed. There is also an ventilator inside the moscitonet we didn’t use.
You can not swim in the ocean! The water on this side of the island is to shallow. Swim in the pool. We rented our own car at the airport and made two trips to Kendwa for swimming and enjoying the turquoise ocean but always left after two hours. There are many people, music, party etc. We spent very relaxing days at SeVi, meditating, reading, making Yoga at our bungalow.
When you enter the beach, at SeVi and other places you will get immediately contacted by locals who want to sell you something. That may be annoying. It is the Indian Ocean but not the Maledives. If Zanzibar, this would be our place again!"

"I stayed 2 nights in Antares and was the only guest around (I think). I know from other Hotels, that they would give a room upgrade in such cases especially smaller boutique hotels like this. The room is very small, kind of far from the beach, the balcony is very narrow. so the sea view isn't the best. Small things were missing like a beach towel, toilet brush and also some body lotion would be nice (at least for the price). Wifi is not too strong, at least it wasn't in my room. The room itself I would say, is not worth the money.
The staff is super nice and friendly. No pushy questions, the vibe is actually really nice. I also liked the beach, which is more relaxed. It is way more busy just next to the pier, where the bigger resorts have their beaches.
It is located at the Beach Lounge, which is also a restaurant and probably the best reason for me to stay in Antares. Food and drinks are to die for! That was really a big surprise!"

"The hotel is new, opened 2 months ago, everything was clean and they have an awesome garden in the front, some beautiful plants inside and a great pool with comfortable sunbeds.
The room was excellent, beautiful decorated, great bed, huge shower with a lot of water but water is only a little warm to cold, wished I could get it a bit warmer. They have high quality products from Inaya and a nice soap from seaweed which I loved.
They prepare your room for the night and served a tea with some fresh leaves, we just had to put hot water, we loved the idea but they should give mores leaves, we did not drink it as after 10 min it still only tasted as hot water.
About the food, breakfast was okay, there are a lot of options with eggs and a few other options, each of us had one avocado toast, then we shared one banana bread(like a cake) and one fruit plate. We asked for one bowl with yogurt, but for us it was not available, only for other guests, was a bit strange. Did we already order too much?
Dinner was ok. We ordered the ceviche but the fish did not have ceviche quality. The Bowl with tuna was great and high quality, portion could be a little bigger but eventhough I would recommend it. We also had the shrimps but for me they were too spicy.
The Beach Service with the Jeep worked very good, the driver is very helpful and friendly.
It is near the Beach but we would not want to walk the Street as a Tourist, there are some men hanging up there and it is an isolated Street."
