„Old Showa style minimalistic ryokan, but the room for 5 was spacepus (double room) and the tatami beds and beddings arw comfortable. Self-service to put the futon (which was no problem for us). Power plugs and Wifi were abundant. We were fine with steps but for eldery or disabled it may be a challenge. The hot spring bath was nice. The temperature may be on a hot side but i think it is pretty standard. The tub was indeed made of wood (I assume hinoki).The place seemed to have a fair number of ...

„Sehr schön gelegen, wir hatten ein schönes großes Zimmer. Mehrere Möglichkeiten um ein tolles heißes Bad zu nehmen, sowohl innen als außen. Das Essen is japanisch aber sehr gute Qualität und viel. Das Hotel ist etwas älter, das sieht man, aber das stört nicht. Sehr nettes Personal. Würde jederzeit wieder hingehen.“

„Easy to park. Wife would give it 4 stars. 6 yr old would give 5 stars for the rock climbing wall. No lift for 2nd floor rooms and would have life more space to open suitcases but overall nice place to stay.“

„Our stay at this Ryokan was just perfect. We loved how central the hotel was located right in the most beautiful street with wonderful stores. We loved the beautiful authentic interior. The rooms were so comfortable and very clean. The beds were heavenly. The staff was nice and so friendly. It couldn’t have been better. “

„Bestilte og fikk et veldig flott rom med egen onsen. I tillegg til veldig god middag og frokost på privat spiserom, så var det vel verdt pengene å ha tilgang til egen varmtvannskilde utendørs, døgnet rundt.
Servicen var også upåklagelig, med veldig hyggelig betjening.
En av de ansatte kjørte oss til og med til riktig busstopp ved utsjekk, når vi innså at vi hadde kjøpt feil billett.
Vil absolutt anbefale plassen om man ser etter et avslappende opphold for en dag eller to.“

„Ha sido una experiencia perfecta en este ryokan. Aunque el acceso es algo difícil, hay una parada de autobús junto enfrente del ryokan que os permitirá llegar a Hirayu Onsen y a Takayama. La comida es espectacular. Y los Onsen, una maravilla. Mención especial para la amabilidad del personal.“

„Un excelente lugar lara relajarse, hay que tener respeto a las tradiciones y disfrutar al maximo la experiencia, es un onsen donde no se admiten tatuajes, hay que cubrirlos, pero vale completamente la pena“

The only thing I didn't check properly was to book breakfast and dinner. In the middle of nowhere it is impossible to buy food out of season. So we had to order breakfast and dinner which cost the same as two nights in this hotel. "Mussten Zimmer wechseln, hatten den Lärm vom Aufzug und Getränkemaschine direkt nebenan ! Neues Zimmer korrekt. Kontakt mit Rezeption sehr gut. Frühstücksbuffet ok, aber um 8 Uhr schon keine Butter mehr !!! Situation sehr gut mit Parkplatz. "
