„A nice, quiet hotel and I enjoyed my stay. Having to pay for overnight parking was a pain, although it was made clear that I'd have to do so beforehand. But it's the only hotel I've ever stopped in where I've also had to pay to park my car.“

Large shower area with good water pressure. Sadly it had no shelf to put shampoo and shower gel whilst in there.
Lovely white cotton bedding.
The only minus with the room was that it was very warm, i know its i Wales and not noted for warm weather. A fan in the room would be a good addition just in case any more warm days bless Newport.

Breakfast was busy but well controlled. Just a shame (not the Hotel's problem) that there are no late night public transport options from Cardiff. We went to a concert but had to drive back. “

„The receptionist was very friendly and helpful. I was made to feel very welcome. It was clean and tidy and good value for money. Good parking and very quiet. The room was small but the bed was comfy. Had a good nights sleep and the wifi was good.“

The owner and staff were obliging and attentive especially Taylor who was a delight to meet and went out of her way to make sure our stay met with our requirements. Her rush to assist a lady who fell outside of the hotel was exemplary and demonstrated her kindness and thoughtfulness. Excellent tasty breakfast too.“

"The Hotel was ok. When we arrived I gave the license plate of the car at the reception but we still got a trafic violation ticket for parking at the parking lot of the hotel. That was pricy and annoying, because we had a rentel car and where charged extra by the rental car company. When I asked Reglan Lodge to help sort this out, I didn't even get a reply. So thanks for the stay that now costs us mmore then 3times the hotelprice! "
