Ideally Located

Oberstrass is part of Zurich's sixth district and is located northeast of the city center. This sprawling neighborhood was once its own city. Oberstrass was incorporated into Zurich in 1893. There's a wide variety of cafes, bars, and restaurants within the neighborhood, as well as several international hotels. Whether you're shopping for groceries or the latest fashions, Oberstrass's retail scene will have something for you. There are also several notable museums in the neighborhood: the quirky Moulagen Museum displays wax models of diseased human body parts while the nearby focusTerra Museum is devoted to presenting the earth sciences in a whole new way, and even has an earthquake simulator. Oberstrass is served by several bus and tram lines as well as the Rigiblick funicular.
