„Beware!! Do not rent this accommodation with VRBO. This is not a legitimate listing on here. We were scammed!!! We turned up and the managers knew nothing about our booking and had never used VRBO to rent it and it already had a long standing tenant there. It was a nightmare for us having to find alternative accommodation late at night after spending the whole day travelling there. It was a further nightmare trying to get the money back.“

„Die Wohnung ist der Wahnsinn! Antik eingerichtet und urgemütlich. Verteuil ist ein wirklich hübscher Ort mit Chateau, Fluss, alter Mühle... einfach malerisch! Simon und Dianne sind unglaublich herzlich und hilfsbereit. Es war ein fast perfekter Urlaub. Etwas störend leider war, dass die engem Gassen die Geräusche von Autos etc. kanalisieren und es daher manchmal etwas laut war.“

„C'est toujours très agréable de séjourner dans un lieu chargé d'histoire. Le chateau de Saveille est un très bel édifice. Notre hôte était sympathique et à l'écoute. Son logis était confortable. J'ai adoré le dortoir à l'étage, et plus encore le jardin clos et arboré, dans lequel nous avons pu prendre tous nos repas. Nous avons pu également, profiter d'une très belle exposition de tacots rutilants, dans l'enceinte du chateau. Bref, un excellent week-end !“

„Arrived to be greeted by Marie who showed us around the property, very friendly. Showed how to operate the pull cover and to contact her if any problems. The owner Henri lives in another house to the rear of the barn rental. Lovely man who would clean the pool early in the morning and check with us all ok. Would definitely stay here again, short run into Ruffec for supplies at either of the two supermarkets. Thanks for a great holiday😊“
