„Older Hotel but nice big rooms“

„Very friendly staff, large rooms and comfortable bed. Greatly located, parking and great breakfast selection“

„We haven’t received the complete instructions to open the front door. The help line was busy for about 20 min, however was sorted out fast.“

„Room was good size and clean Use of the pool was good“

„Every time I travel back north I stay at this place as it's friendly, has what you need and more-aka the restaurant next door and nearby to bigger shops too“

„Room was a decent size with view over the river! Bed was very comfortable! Shower was poor, no real pressure! Lighting in the room wasn’t great! Restaurant was closed on both nights I stopped, not an issue as I wanted to walk and there is a decent pub(Schooner inn) not too far away!“

„Nice, clean rooms in a beautiful old villa. Quiet location and close to Newcastle city center or shopping, just a few minutes by car. Very friendly hosts and staff, award winning restaurant on site and a nice garden - if the weather permits it. We enjoyed staying there and can recommend this hotel. “
