„The motel is pet friendly, but the restaurant is not. Not even on the patio. The window screens in the room have wholes or totally off. The front door has a huge gap. I didn’t even get checked it properly. One guys asked the owner who was fixing something what room I’m in and gave the key. When I brought the key back I had to pay (forgot that they didn’t take my payment in advance like others did) so I had to pay extra for the dog. Owner was not nice. „We had a wonderful week at the Boathouse Cottage. The location could not have been better. You are a 2 minute walk away from a secluded cove on the Bay of Funny (Kelly's Cove) with so much to explore at low tide. The tide pools had lots of treasures- crabs, shells, jellyfish, and unbeatable sunsets. Just 10 minutes away is the small town of St. George with a grocery store and other amenities. Easy day trips include St. Andrews by the Sea (40 minutes) and the white sand beaches of peace river ...
