„Set in the grounds of a golf course, the room, part of the Courtyard area, was exceptional. Set on 3 levels, the bedroom was on the top level with wall mounted TV, then a seating area below that and a second TV, and the bathroom below that. The only negative for us was the heavy quilt, which was too hot, and the soft pillows, offering little support. Breakfast was excellent. It was ordered from the menu. However, a buffet offering fresh fruit, pastries and cereal would be a useful addition. ...

„Äußerlich ansprechendes Haus mit Rittern vor der Tür. Angenehmer Frühstücksraum mit verschiedenen Stilmöbeln. Leider haben wir eines von zwei noch nicht renovierten Zimmern bekommen. Das eigentliche Zimmer war akzeptabel, das Bad eher eine Zumutung. Die Straße vor dem Haus störte nachts - auch bei geöffnetem Fenster - erfreulicherweise kaum. Parkmöglichkeiten beim Hotel vorhanden.“

„The pink room is spacious and very well furnished. Everything was provided. There was even a view towards Bamburgh Castle which was a bonus. We were very impressed with the whole of the property. The owners were very friendly and nothing was too much trouble. The breakfast was of an excellent standard. We will definately be reurning for a longer stay. We would recommend Railston House unreservedly.“

„Walking distance to city centre and railway station, spectacular cliff walks not much further away. Great rooms and breakfast either english "cooked" or scottish with haddock or kippers. Was there with family of four - WLAN was fast enough for two teenage daugthers :-)“

"Nice Hotel in the middle of the village with a couple of smaller shops. Walk to the river with playground easily possible, bakery also next door. Old building, but clean rooms. Food also good."
