„Tolles Schwimmbad, Frühstück ok, schönes neues Zimmer, genügend kostenfreie Parkplätze, Bus nach Newcastle Zentrum direkt vor dem Haus. Tolles Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis. Personal an der Rezeption superfreundlich und bemüht, haben uns tolle Ausflugstipps gegeben, alles Mögliche ausgedruckt und ein Tourist Office ersetzt. Ganz großes Lob!!!“

„Das Windsor ist ein schönes Hotel. Für einen Urlaub in Newcastle gut geignet. Zur Strandpromenade sind es etwa 300m . Wir hatten ein schönes Zimmer mit Blick auf das Meer und zum Leuchtturm. Außerdem hatten wir ein romantisches Himmelbett. Das Personal ist überaus nett. Das einzige Störende waren die Bar`s und eine Disko in der Straße an 2 Tagen der Woche. Aber ich würde das Hotel jederzeit wieder buchen. Vielen Dank.“

„We had only one night and found a very nice little hotel with very friendly and helpful staff and an excelent breakfast. As we left we got a good tip to spend the day until we had to leave by ferry to Amsterdam: the market at Tynemouth Station! Only limited parking next to the hotel but nearby parking lot and roadside parking.“

„Really lovley area, check-in was easy and Jay was nice enought to let us drop our bags early so we could explore newastle. Of note, due to train strikes 2 of our trains were canceled or skipped the Cramlington stops so keep an eye on that if you make any appointments that rely on public transport.“

„I had a great time from the very beginning. Stephen and Neil were lovely and taking great care and my room had a perfect view. For breakfast I can highly recommend the Large Scotch Pancake, sooo lovely!! When you are new in Tynemouth listen carefully to Stephens advices for good food and great bars. When I had to return home, the Metro broke down because of snow. I phoned Stephen in order to ask him for help to get a Taxi, but everyone at the coast tried to get one, so I had no chance. Stephen ...

„Somehow the caravan I booked was double booked, but the host was able to put us up in another van. She was very responsive and worked hard to make sure we were comfortable. I can’t give full marks for accuracy of listing as I stayed in a completely different place, but it was fine. Location was perfect. The van we were in was very close to the road and people seem to treat that stretch of the road as a racetrack, which was quite loud at night. Aside from that all was great. “

„Nicely done out. A couple of issues in terms of equipment - only one mug so we had to go out and buy one the following day. Also no potato peeler, cafetière (coffee machine needed capsules which are more expensive to buy). The outdoor area could have been made more attractive. The alley at the back was full of rubbish. We did receive quick feedback to our concerns about the mug and the lockpad being left on the code. “

„I was looking for a soft place to land for my dog and me, and Sofia's place offered just that! It was cosy, and an easy walk to Northumberland Park and Tynemouth. It was also useful to have a little Morrison's daily store on the corner to pick up a few necessities. I would definitely recommend it, and would stay again.“

"Das Hotel ist sehr alt und hat daher alle altersbedingte Probleme: quietschende Fussböden, Lärm von der Strasse, unvernünftig eingerichtete Zimmer und Basezimmer. Z.B. im Eingangsbereich genug Platz, aber keine Einrichtungen für Kleiderbügel oder Hocker. Der Wasserhahn ist so kurz, dass man nicht beide Hände komplett darunter waschen kann. Mein erstes Zimmer hat ganze Zeit ein komisches Geräusch, so dass ich das Zimmer wechseln muss. Die überwiegende Servicepersonen sind aber sehr nett und hilfsbereit bis auf einen als ich eincheckte. Ich war über Wochenende und Halloween da - das war vielleicht der Grund, dass der Zimmerpreis so hoch war. Es hätte höchstens halb so viel kosten sollen. "
