„This is the 3rd time that I am returning to Halcyon. It really is the best hotel on Mawella beach (and maybe even in whole of southern province :) The hotel is beautifully and tastefully decorated, the staff are super friendly, including owner Xander, it's absolutely right on the beach , the food is great. „Stayed in Nila balcony room. Spectacular view, beautiful room. Nice pool. Nila room has a bit more privacy than others as it is on second floor. Friendly and very professional staff. Perfect for a few days of romantic getaway. Sea is swimmable but can be rough, requires caution and would not recommend swimming in the sea for kids. No alcohol can be bought on premises, wine shop about 500m away, easy walk. Can store wine or beer in common fridge.“
