„Die teuerste Unterkunft der ganzen Rundreise hat uns enttäuscht. Wir hatten ein Deluxe Zimmer im Haupthaus gebucht. Schon beim Betreten des Zimmers roch es sehr modrig. Obwohl wir das kleine Fenster die ganze Zeit offenließen, verflog der Geruch nicht. Die Einrichtung ist in die Jahre gekommen und der fleckige, vermutlich modrige Teppichboden gehört dringend erneuert. Die Lampe war verrostet und die Matratzenbezüge waren ziemlich fleckig. „Beste Lage mit Zugang zum See, welcher weltweit der größte auf einer Insel ist, welche wiederum in einem See liegt. Kanu und Kajakverleih inklusive. Reichhaltige Aufenthaltsmöglichkeiten. Auch bei schlechtem Wetter. Kein WiFi für die Gäste und eingeschränkter Mobilfunk. Vollausgestattete Küche. Sehr gemütlichen Restaurant. Die Lodge ist perfekt um abzuschalten. “

„Older cottage but has everything you need and is spacious and very comfortable. Location right on the lake is beautiful with private beach and access to kayaks. Lots of birds, beautiful spot. Sunrise is visible from the jetty. The geese are nice to watch with their babies but they do create a bit of a mess on the lawn and beach. Overall a lovely and peaceful spot to spend a few days away from the bustling city.“

„Very old cabin so wonky floors and steep stairs but very charming. Highly functional kitchen with everything you could possibly need including spices. Just be aware that the washing machine in the downstairs bathroom is off limits. Bring your own Keurig coffee pods as there are none supplied but a full-on Keurig is there. „We stayed in the A-Frame cottage for my best friend’s birthday weekend and had a wonderful time. One thing to note is that I initially misread the listing and didn’t realize the property and dock were shared with the neighbouring cottage. That said, it wasn’t an issue during our stay, as everyone seemed to naturally take turns enjoying the space.
