„Die teuerste Unterkunft der ganzen Rundreise hat uns enttäuscht. Wir hatten ein Deluxe Zimmer im Haupthaus gebucht. Schon beim Betreten des Zimmers roch es sehr modrig. Obwohl wir das kleine Fenster die ganze Zeit offenließen, verflog der Geruch nicht. Die Einrichtung ist in die Jahre gekommen und der fleckige, vermutlich modrige Teppichboden gehört dringend erneuert. Die Lampe war verrostet und die Matratzenbezüge waren ziemlich fleckig. Richtig eklig. Das Management scheint das Office selten ...

Auch bei schlechtem Wetter. Kein WiFi für die Gäste und eingeschränkter Mobilfunk. Vollausgestattete Küche. Sehr gemütlichen Restaurant. Die Lodge ist perfekt um abzuschalten. “

One suggestion was to have a safer place to throw out the garbage, animals got into the shed from the bottom of the door and we had to clean up the mess. „Very old cabin so wonky floors and steep stairs but very charming. Highly functional kitchen with everything you could possibly need including spices. Just be aware that the washing machine in the downstairs bathroom is off limits. Bring your own Keurig coffee pods as there are none supplied but a full-on Keurig is there. „Lilly Lakehouse is an excellent cottage getaway. The home is situated in a quiet neighborhood, right on the water. There is lots of room for guests to enjoy the outdoors - on the expansive deck, around the firepit, or right by the water. Be sure to take water shoes, as the beach - like many on Manitoulin - is rocky. The home is well-appointed with a full kitchen, and lots of room to relax indoors. A great spot for a family vacation.“
