„Our stay here was twofold. One: quality time together and Two: a tryout for the young dogs in a boarding kennel not far away. The last night the dogs stayed with us. The bach was awesome. Very well laid out and complete. If anything, we couldn’t find any ice cube trays so our G&T was a bit make do. For the rest just great. Hear the moreporks at night, swim in the river at Pots Reserve. Best kept secret: Kuku Beach. Don’t go there folks to keep it a secret 😁“

„We stayed here for a wedding across the state Highway at The Milk Station. It was amazing. Fire wood was provided and fully stocked which heated the main areas so well. There was extra bedding, 3 bedrooms, heaps of space in-doors and out-doors, and toys for my 6 month old and my nephew and nieces to visit. Traveling with a little one can be stressful but staying here took away some of that pressure as they had a portacot, cutlery, toys, a washing machine and all the essentials. It was a home ...

„Wir haben in einem Studio Unit übernachtet. Die Studio Units sind viel grösser als die 'normalen' Zimmer, die sehr klein und schlecht isoliert sind. Der Empfang war freundlich und das WLAN hat gut funktioniert, obgleich es im Laufe des Abends immer langsamer wurde. Eine Kochnische gibt es nicht - Mikrowelle, Toaster und Kühlschrank (etwas laut übrigens) sind aber dabei. Das Hotel liegt dem Trentham-Bahnhof gegenüber, die Hauptstadt Wellington ist also leicht zu erreichen. ...

„Obwohl angegeben war, das die Rezeption besetzt ist, war aber niemand da. Man musste anrufen. Nach ca.30 Minuten gab es eine Verbindung. Dort haben wir den Code für eine Box bekommen, in dem Briefumschlaege mit Namen und Zimmernummer + Schlüssel waren. Sehr unpersönlich. Bis zur Abfahrt gab es keinen Kontakt zu den Gastgebern. Bei der Abfahrt mussten die Schlüssel in eine Box gegeben werden. Man hatte den Eindruck, die Gastgeber wollten nichts mit ihren Gästen zu tun habe.“

„Nur 10 Minuten zu Fuß vom der stadtmitte und dem strand entfernt. Frühstück stand gleich im zimmer es konnte also gegessen werden wann man mochte. Wir waren im Frühling dort war die Bettdecke nicht warm genug haben aber eine zusätzliche bekommen. Sonst alles sehr schön“

„Only negative which didn't affect us was that the storage of kitchen items was very high. A short person would need a ladder or stool to get cups and cutlery off the shelf. Also the clothes hooks in the bathroom are high off the floor. Otherwise we found it a very pleasant accommodation. “
