„Mitten im Regenwald. Schöne Ausflüge zu Teeplantagen und zum Wasserfall. Atemberaubende Aussicht aus dem Zimmer. Freundliches Personal, leckeres Essen.“

„it was a very irresponsible service, where I made the booking on 27th October for 11th December, 45 days prior (booking confirmation 133489232195). Since their Head Office didn't forward the booking details to the site. They refused to accept my booking, since they have over sold the rooms. After showing the evidences, they were trying to offer us a horrible location as an alternative and argued with me that the Credit Card payment was not made by them, whereas it was debited in October ...

„Pongo horrible porqué no existe el hotel , estuvimos buscando dando vueltas alrededor de la dirección que consta en hotels.com sin éxito y con la confirmación dre vecinos de la zona de que ya no existia el edificio por demolición ya que en la dirección solo existe un gran solar en obras actuslmente. Así que fatal!“

„Backyard Balangoda provides a great Sri Lankan experience, complete with a very friendly dog named Bruno! The incredibly kind owner made sure we had a wonderful stay, sharing interesting information about local life and tasty food. Breakfast, made with local ingredients, was wonderful, especially the tea from his garden and his own roasted coffee. Be sure to try the special Cinnamon Infused Ice Tea – it’s also lovely with some lemon gin in the evening! The scenery is amazing, and the waterfall ...

„Alles sehr gut und sauber . Essen aller card sehr lecker, frühstück gut, aber dunkel und bedrückend.“

„Sehr herzliche Familie, schönes Zimmer, ruhig und tropisch gelegen. Sehr gutes Essen!!!! Auf jeden Fall empfehlenswert !!!!“

„Really friendly hosts. The cabin was super nice and clean. The owner drove me also to Ella, thanks for the service. The next restaurants are about 7km away but you can dine there as well. “

„We can’t say enough good things about the staff - the hospitality was amazing! They went over and above to look after us! We did not realize you could book a safari drive with them but based on the level of service I wished I had booked with them. Thank you for a wonderful stay!“

„A peaceful nature retreat with incredible fresh food. Our stay at Kalu’s Hideaway was a wonderful experience from start to finish. We loved the wholesome farm-to-table dining—tasting fresh red dragon fruit straight from the garden, sweet pineapples, mangos, and delicious Sri Lankan vegetables. The property itself is surrounded by nature. The butterfly garden was an unexpected treat, and waking up to the tranquil morning sounds of birds overlooking the Udawalawe reserve canopy was magical. „Super Hotel mit tollem Pool und freundlichem Service. Zimmer sind gross mit Balkon. Einzig die Ameisen und Geckos muss man akzeptieren, aber nicht weiter schlimm. Da rund um das Hotel nichts ist ausser Safari, würde ich nur 1 Nacht buchen.“

„Honestly a very disappointing hotel. Online it looks lovely but the reality of metal construction without insulation means a boiling hot room that the AC can’t counteract and from others walking. The restaurant was comparable to Faulty Towers! We ordered a bottle of wine and after waiting for 15mins we’re told they didn’t have it, other drinks on the menu weren’t available, food was actually lovely but arrived at random times and the staff looked perplexed when asked anything. Also, and not ...

„Simple but spacious and clean rooms, with comfortable bed and good wifi. Large modern pool area, fantastic to cool down after a day out on safari. The included breakfast was plenty and very delicious and changed from day to day. Unfortunately, the chef for dinner was not available when we were there but we found good and cheap dinner locations just minutes away. “

„Heerlijk zwembad en super vriendelijke eigenaar! Eten was goed geregeld en lekker lokaal en ook met de safari werden we goed geholpen. “
