„Charming miners cottages in the centre of Burra, within easy walking distance to eating & shops. Quiet, spacious, very comfy bed. Being winter the cottages do get cold but heat pump soon fixed that. When we arrived at the front of the cottages a notice on the gate said to check in around the corner at the office on site so we drove around only to find a board propped against a tree saying check in was now via the camp ground along the road. „The cottage has everything you need in generous supply. It's like living in a museum with a strong sense of history. I strongly recommend staying at the cottage. The only negatives are the TV reception was faulty and Netflix never worked. Cosy home with a marvellous garden.“

„Awesome. Traditional pub stay. Room was spartan but very comfortable. Excellent meal in the evening and drinks at 1970s prices. And cost was half of what I paid up the Track to stay in a ‘donga’. Staff were very friendly and helpful. When next in Burra, I’ll definitely be staying at the Royal Exchange Hotel. (Thanks, Harrison)“
