„This is a charming old historic house with plenty of room for a group. The location is close to many businesses and easy to find. The only fault we could find was that the street outside is very busy and very loud until the wee hours of the morning. The street noise, however, is not the owner’s fault, and some of us just used noise cancelling earbuds at night- problem solved! “

„I debated writing this review but after staying in 3 other rentals during our trip, this was the only disappointing booking we had. We arrived & the overhead garage door was left up, with the door connecting into the house unlocked. Check in instructions stated there would be a lock box near the door with a house key, so immediatly I messaged the host asking if I should be concerned. „I was so happy with my experience at Richard and Kimma’s home. The hosts were friendly and responsive from the time of booking through the end of my stay. When I arrived, I was given a plate of homemade cookies along with the key and a tour of the house. I was spending the week at the Willa Cather conference in Red Cloud, which was a quick 20-25 min drive away, very easy to get to. „Great property located close to the Fairfax SD hall where our wedding reception was held. Perfect for our needs during the hectic weekend. The bride & bridesmaids did their hair & makeup there & it was close enough to reception hall you could stumble home on foot if needed. The host also let us park a small camper in the drive & had Electrical hookup available. I would definitely recommend if you're having an event at the Fairfax Hall.“
