Das Hotel liegt leider sehr ungünstig und ist vom Flughafen aus schwer zu erreichen, man fährt 2 Stunden mit dem Shuttle. Die Straße dorthin ist zu 40% eine absolute Huckelpiste. Die Ausstattung ist minimalistisch. Wir hatten den Minibungalow am Steg. Lediglich ein Bett und ein Bad. Frühstück gibt es ab 7.30, Abendessen erst ab 19.30. Wir hatten leider bis auf einen Tag immer a la cart Essen, von welchem niemand satt werden kann. Das Frühstück war auch leider sehr minimalistisch. Es gab Marmelade und Nuttela und Toastbrot und Obst und das jeden Morgen. Keine Wurst, kein Käse, nichts herzhaftes. Allerdings konnte man sich von der Karte Ei bestellen. Am Hotel kann man leider nicht wirklich baden. Bis Abends Ebbe und dann jede menge Steine und extrem viele Seeigel wo der ein oder andere rein getreten ist. Der Nungwibeach ist leider nicht so schön wie erwartet. Auch dort jede Menge Steine im Wasser und Seeigel und sehr verdreckt. Der Kendwa beach circa 30 bis 40 Minuten Fußmarsch bei Ebbe war schöner.

Nice Hotel directly on the beach!
A real nice hotel situated directly on the beach with a great ocean view. Nice tropical garden and a splended pool area. Cottages, all equiped with aircon. The personal is very friendly and helps in any situation! The restaurant serves delicious food and the bar is also equipped very well. Quiet place to stay and relax. If you want to have a party, it will take about 20 min of walk, to the village where you can find several bars along the ocean front.

Anlage top Zimmer viel zu klein
Die Anlage ist sehr schön aber die Zimmer winzig . Gerade so dass man ums Bett rumgehen kann wenn man z7 zweit im Raum ist wird es schön eng. Es gibt keine Möglichkeit das Gepäck abzustellen . Das Bad hat auch schon bessere Zeiten gesehen, duschen ist bei dem geringen Wasserdruck so gut wie nicht möglich.

Paradies mit kleinen Mängeln
Wir, Paar 50/52, waren im Dezember 2016 für 11 Tage im Mnarani Beach Cottage. Insgesamt ein sehr gepflegtes, kleines Hotel mit sehr bemühten Personal und guter Führung. Ausstattung - sehr schöne gepflegte Anlage in einem wunderschönen Garten mit verschiedenen Zimmerkategorien die landestypisch, einfach aber gut ausgestattet sind, Pool sehr schön und gepflegt, Sonnenliegen sind am Pool und auf der Terasse gut verteilt mit Auflagen und genügend Platz, herrlicher Blick aufs Meer, zentrale Bar mit allen Getränken sowie Restaurant mit Mittag - und Abendessen auch für Nicht - Hotelgäste zugänglich Sauberkeit - sehr gut, es wird jeden Tag gereinigt, und eigentlich den ganzen Tag irgendwo gekehrt, gewischt und geputzt Aktivitäten - es werden Ausflüge und Wassersport im Hotel angeboten - absolut zu empfehlen die Sunset Tour und Massagen - die waren einfach super! Essen - wir hatten Halbpension gebucht - die Qualität des Essens war sehr gut - leider wird sowohl Frühstücksbuffett als auch Abendessen nach einigen Tagen ein wenig eintönig - etwas mehr ´Kreativität in der Küche wäre schön Mit Beschwerden - die wir leider an einem Tag hatten - wird sehr professionell umgegangen - nach einem sehr konstruktiven Gespräch mit dem Chef des Hauses wurden wir sehr nett mit einem besonderen Abendessen als Entschuldigung überrascht und Kritikpunkte sehr rasch positiv umgesetzt Personal - größtenteils sehr freundlich und bemüht Insgesamt hatten wir einen sehr schönen, erholsamen Aufenthalt

Das Personal war sehr freundlich und stets bemüht. Das Frühstück zufriedenstellend und das Abendessen war immer abwechslungsreich und sehr lecker. Ein Zimmer mit Meerblick sollte man bevorzugen. Die Lage ist optimal und man hat immer tolle Aussicht.

Over all not so good
Very nice scenery and nice design of the landscape. But I was met by s cockroach when I stepped in the room. The power went out every day for 1-2 hours and it was not always the hotel wanted to turn on the generator. I got food poisoning at dinner. The hammock infornt of the cottage was nice.

We stayed here for 5 nights. Its a ti min walk to sentral Nungwi. This place is great , its a good place to relax We stayed in the family superior room seaview, this is a big room with a Nice balcony with seaview. The bed is really hard but it was ok for a few nights for us. The staff was great , thanks to Andrew in the bar , he is great.

Great value for money
I sent with my family and need two rooms, which we got in a shared appartment. Really nice and big rooms with privat bathroom and toilet. A great place. But a big minus was a generator right besides our room which was really noisy, and the water in the bath was only hot and almost mon existing … besides this … we really enjoyed our stay, great location, nice staff, great service, great breakfast … so 4,5 stars … and value for money.

Fantastiskt julfirande på Mnrarani
En vistelse över förväntan. Vid högvatten var det perfekt hav att bada i. Poolen och de gemensamma utrymmena var mycket fräscha. Rummet i huset med hängmattor var helt perfekt för oss. Mindre problem åtgärdade hotellet direkt. Maten i restaurangen vart typisk hotel standard för området, fräscht och gott men inte särskilt spännande. Ett stenkast bort finns den fantastiska restaurangen Aluna. Enskilt läge, men ändå bara 5minuter promenad till centrala delar och 15min promenad till större stränder.

Our cottage was clean with good hot water and A/C. It was a quiet location on the beach. Food was good. The aquarium where you can swim with sea turtles in a natural lagoon is across the road. I enjoyed the hammocks on the property. Staff was friendly and helpful.

Bonne situation en bord de plage même si oa route pour arriver à l'hotel est assez chaotique. La vue sur la mer est magnifique, pdj correct mais pas très varié. La dame qui propose les services de spa (massages et onglerie) est très bien. Attention Nungwi est tout au nord de l'île. Nous avons été déçus par l'accueil, notamment au bar, et le service excursions/voyages. On avait l'impression de les déranger si l'on demandait un renseignement ou que l'on voulait commander. Les chambres étaient propres et agréables, ce qui était cohérent avec les tarifs pratiqués.

I stayed for 4 nights and my comments as follow: * The room was very nice (spacious, very nice view "Mahaba 1", nice AC, hot water and coffee tray) * The staff very friendly *the beach is nice, but affected by tides, so the water going away sometimes during the day. Also the management need to watch the guest behavior with the shades and sun beds as during our stay we found some people putting their towels to reserve place and going to use other area of the beach or using the pool!! * The breakfast limited choices with acceptable quality. * The dinner set menu and tasty "compliments to the chef" * The area very rough.

The place is fine for the price. Rooms are basic but functional (hot water, air con etc). The location is a little distant from Nungwi nightlife but most guests are probably looking for that. Breakfast is a little disappointing at most Nungwi hotels but this place is slightly above average in the breakfast stakes.

Fantastisch uitzicht, maar mieren in de kamer omdat er een grote kier onder de deur is, een slechtsluitende, lekkende douchedeur en schimmel in de douche vind ik onacceptabel op dit prijsniveau. Personeel was aanvankelijk niet vewelkomend en is heel slecht in het luisteren naar klantenwensen.

Helt rätt ställe att slappna av på. Ligga vid poolen, en hängmatta, ut i havet vid lågvatten och kolla snäckor, krabbor mm. Middagen, som ingick i priset, var inte mer än OK. Frukosten var bra. Massagen var bra och prisvärd. Vänlig och hjälpsam personal, men med en del språkproblem.

Perefect size and location. Nice staff
Great and quiet location. The massage area right by the sea is pure bliss. Be prepared for a nice but but slow service.

The room was absolute disaster! I paid upgrade amd i got the cheapest hole.. no internet or wifi for $137 a night for this hole with no wifi never again! No hot water even, breakfast disaster again...

Beautiful hotel, private and not surrounded by any other hotels, friendly staff, good food. Lush gardens and great sea views. Plenty to do in Nungwi. Swimming with turtles was amazing! Great experience to watch dhow builders perform their art with wood. We booked an extra night at the hotel at good rates!
