Historisch bedeutet auch schiefe Fußböden, hohe Stufen und keine Doppelfenster, was tagsüber doch zu einer hohen Lärmbelästigung führt, da der Weg zu einem großen Parkplatz am Haus vorbeigeht. Nachts ist es ruhig. Das Haus ist größtenteils sauber. Die Möblierung in den Schlafzimmern ist auf das Nötigste beschränkt, so gibt es kaum Stühle, um Kleidung abzulegen.
