They really struggled at breakfast with a coach party all coming down to eat at the same time and only two waitresses and one chef to handle everything. They were having an up grade and refurbishment whilst I was there but it didn't affect my stay .

"Weilte 5 Tage im Hotel The Coniston Inn. Die Lage des Hotels, unmittelbar in Seenähe und etwas ausserhalb vom Ort Coniston (kurzer Fussmarsch) gelegen, ist schlicht wunderbar. Sehr ruhige Lage, eine Bus-Haltestelle vor dem Hotel und eine grosse Gartenanlage mit Sitz- und Erholungsgelegenheiten. Das Gebäude ist ein typisch englisches Landhaus. Das Personal ist sehr zuvorkommend und hilfsbereit. Im Zimmer habe ich mich sehr wohl gefühlt. Toll auch, dass man im Zimmer über einen Wasserkocher mit Tee- und Kaffee-Vorräten verfügen kann. Das Frühstück ist grandios. Sehr zu empfehlen sind die Eier-Gerichte (im Frühstückspreis enthalten). Auch im Restaurant habe ich einige Male gegessen. Es hat Pub-Charakter, was ich als sehr angenehm empfunden habe."
