We are a family of 6 that stayed here from March 28th to April 4th. This was our 2nd stay in PR but first time at Casa Amapola. For our family, this 5 bedroom house was perfect. Each kid had their own room and the layout of the common areas and outdoor space provided enough room for preparing food, dining, and playing as a family. The pool, although small, was great for cooling off and playing around. There were pool floats, toys and outdoor games for keeping everyone entertained. Pros:The hosts were great at communicating and making sure we were informed and comfortable. The community is gated, with secure access from the road and the beach, providing a high level of safety. The views and proximity to the beach are hard to beat. The house came equipped with everything a family could possibly need and then some to feel right at home. The hosts thought of everything and even special touches that you wouldn't expect. The kitchen was stocked with all the cooking and cleaning essentials and even had a stocked pantry with spices, seasonings, condiments, coffee filters, etc. They provided a basket with insect spray (which we didn't need, but was nice to have in case), sunscreen, after-sun care, ponchos, first-aid kit, medicines, etc. The bathrooms had toiletries, q-tips, facial tissues, etc. Again, all things that you don't really think about but add a nice touch. The house had board games, beach towels and chairs, beach toys, coolers, fishing rods, portable speaker, etc.
