„Very nice hotel, tucked away in a quiet location surrounded by lawns and trees. We were in a room behind the main building which was very comfortable, well equipped and air conditioned. The staff were all very helpful and we will definitely stay again. “

„Shepherds hut was lovely… and the included breakfast items were most welcome. Lovely and secluded however the patio needed some attention, all the plants in the pots around the site were dead and there was a disused hot tub which we had to look at rather than use! The hut itself was in good nick although the toilet flush and mirror in the bathroom need some attention “

Our room (the Hudson) was furnished in the country house style and was supremely comfortable. The only downside was the bathroom was a bit small and slightly dated. „Our second time here and you can not fault this place . The rooms, the staff, the location are just perfect and the dogs are made to feel like VIP’s. The hot tub is lovely and the restaurant has such a nice ambiance about it ( and yes dogs are welcome in there too!)“

"The location was great and it was perfectly located, you were at the central station in three minutes and can reach everything else within a 10 min walk. The owner was extremely nice and took care of me very well. The house is old and although you could tell they tried hard to keep the shared bathrooms clean, this wasn’t always the case. The house was fukky booked though so I appreciate the effort! I’d definitely come back! "
