When you’re ready for some shut-eye, climb the stairs to one of the six sumptuous bedrooms. There is a twin, a double, and a super-king, and finally, three zip-and-link super-king-size bedrooms (can be made into twins on request at time of booking), offering flexible sleeping arrangements for the group. If you can tear yourself away from the beautiful grounds, then take a gentle stroll along the riverside on the Tiffey Trail, which leads to Wymondham (3.5), a medieval market town home to an ancient abbey, and several pubs and restaurants where you can find something to whet everyone’s appetite. Hop in the car and enjoy a family day out that the kids will love at BeWILDerwood (24 miles) or ROARR! theme park (11 miles).
