„There are a lot of different breakfast options, and the food is great especially the bacon in Eggs Benedict and the sourdough bread. The spa bath is great, and the bathroom is nice. The only problem is the extra bed is a bit too soft, and the bed is a bit too low. Access to transport is near, as Windermere Library bus stop is near (basically in front of the hotel!), so is Windermere Railway Station as it’s an 10 minute walk via High Street. Overall the stay is pretty good.“

„Had a fantastic stay in the Edelweisse suite for part of our honeymoon tour of the lakes. Room was spotless and awesome. Fantastic facilities in the room, difficult to choose between hot tub or spa bath, so alternated between the two. Batj may have edged it due to TV! Comfortable bed and sofa. „Das Hotel hat eine hübsche Lage im Grünen und besonders von der Terrasse aus, einen schönen Blick auf Lake Windermere. Super Hallenbad mit sehr angenehm warmem Wasser. Das Hotel liegt etwas außerhalb des Ortes und hat keine Möglichkeit direkt zum See zu kommen. Zu Fuß braucht man ca. 30min in den hübschen Ort Bowness on Windermere, was nur dann etwas stört, wenn man so wie wir, leider nur wenig Zeit mitbringt. (Nur 1 Nacht). Schönes Frühstücksbuffet!“
