Our butlers, Pierre and Kaleifa, were extremely helpful and pleasant. Overall, most of the staff were very welcoming, especially Danielle, Krystal, Nicholi, and Chad. The resort itself is gorgeous. The rooms are beautiful, and honestly, the pictures do them no justice. However, given the size of the property, I feel it would be better classified as a boutique hotel. It is very small compared with the average Royalton property. The welcome gift was a small bottle of rum. We are accustomed to receiving the Royalton totes, tumblers, and some type of resort memorabilia, so we were a little disappointed that there wasn't more of a welcome experience. As a Caribbean couple traveling to a Caribbean resort in Barbados, we were also expecting more of a genuine Bajan experience. Unfortunately, the resort felt very geared toward European and Anglo visitors. There was no strong sense of originality or local culture that made us feel like we were truly experiencing Barbados. The outside activities were also limited in variety, Some of the prices seemed quite high, such as $60 USD for only 15 minutes of jet skiing. The food options were generic, with the typical Italian, Asian, steakhouse selections. Although the resort advertises 13 restaurants, they operate on a rotation schedule, so only about 2-3 may actually be open at any given time. Breakfast was another issue. If you're not an early riser, by around 10:30 a.m. there'll be only scraps. Though nice I wouldn't come back.

We really enjoyed the villa and the host and the service. Beautiful villa in a quiet neighbourhood and a nice beach not so far away.

Very quiet and relaxing atmosphere. Not a party resort. Excellent staff, food was delicious. Small resort , so small pool area and beach but more than enough room to accommodate all the guests without feeling crowded at all. I would return.
