„We live in Hawaii and so visit Volcano often. We absolutely loved this cottage, probably more than any that we have stayed in previously. The lanai is beautiful with local flowers, hot tub and lighting. The kitchen has everything that you could possibly want - assorted teas, coffee, fresh cream in the refrigerator, oatmeal, bananas, filtered water system and more. „Got in on a Friday evening and was greeted by the chirp of the smoke alarm in the master bedroom--the battery was dying. Even though the next day was a Saturday, the host had his handyman (who was a very nice fellow) arrive with ladder and a fresh battery. The house is in a very quiet neighborhood (the sheep next door sleep through the night and are charming during the day.)“
