Park Drive is a modern four-bedroom home in Whitehaven, accommodating up to seven guests across one super king-size bed, one double bed and three single beds.

With flexible sleeping arrangements, spacious living areas, a large private garden and generous parking, the property is well suited to families, groups of friends, contractor teams, professionals and guests requiring longer stays in West Cumbria.

One bedroom is located on the ground floor and contains two single beds. Large windows give the room a bright and airy feel.

The remaining three bedrooms are upstairs and include one super king-size bedroom, one double bedroom and one single bedroom. Each bedroom provides storage for clothes and personal belongings. Bed linen, bath towels and hand towels are supplied for all guests.

The property has one family bathroom and two additional WCs. A convenient WC is located on the ground floor. Upstairs, guests have access to a second WC and a family bathroom with a bath and overhead shower.

The spacious open-plan kitchen and living area provides an ideal setting for relaxing, dining and socialising. Comfortable furnishings, a feature fireplace and a Smart TV create a welcoming place to unwind after a busy day. Guests are welcome to sign in to their own streaming accounts during their stay.

The breakfast bar offers additional space for dining, working or spending time together.

The modern kitchen is equipped for both short visits and extended stays, with an oven, hob, fridge, freezer, microwave, kettle, toaster, dishwasher, washing machine, tumble dryer, cookware, utensils and crockery.

Guests receive a small starter supply of toilet rolls, washing-up liquid, hand soap, kitchen roll, laundry capsules and dishwasher tablets.

Outside, guests can enjoy a large private rear garden with outdoor seating.

Guests have private use of the entire house, including all four bedrooms, the family bathroom, two additional WCs, kitchen, living and dining area, and rear garden.

Please note that the family bathroom and three of the bedrooms are upstairs and require the use of internal stairs.

Location

Park Drive is situated just outside Whitehaven town centre and its historic harbour, providing convenient access to local shops, cafés, pubs, restaurants and other amenities.

A large supermarket is located opposite the property, while a pub and several takeaway options can be reached within approximately five minutes on foot.

Whitehaven is around 27 miles from Keswick and the north-western Lake District, and approximately 48 miles from Windermere and the southern Lake District. The house therefore provides a convenient base for exploring the western Lake District, the Cumbrian coast and the wider region.

The location is equally well suited to contractors and business travellers working near Sellafield, West Cumberland Hospital, Westlakes Science Park and other major employers across West Cumbria.

Whitehaven railway station provides services along the Cumbrian Coast Line between Carlisle and Barrow-in-Furness. Local bus routes also connect Whitehaven with surrounding towns and areas.

Parking

The property benefits from a private driveway with space for up to three cars.

Additional free on-street parking is available around the property, subject to availability. On-street spaces cannot be reserved or guaranteed.

Important pre-arrival information

Before check-in, the booking guest must complete identity verification, accept our rental agreement and provide a refundable £150 security deposit through our secure guest portal.

The deposit is processed separately as a card pre-authorisation. It may appear as a pending transaction, but the money is not normally taken from your account. It will only be charged where necessary following damage or a breach of the disclosed house rules or rental terms.

The pre-authorisation is released after checkout when no charge is required. The time taken for the pending transaction to disappear will depend on the guest’s bank.

Full check-in and access instructions will be shared approximately 24 hours before arrival once all required pre-arrival steps have been completed.
