„We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the bach. The view is stunning, the wildlife enchanting and Julia was the perfect host. The kitchen was very well equipped, the beds very comfy, and the place was spotless. The local beaches are heavenly and well worth an explore. I'd definitely recommend this bach to anyone wanting to chillout and slow down, and we'd definitely stay again.“

„The listing is inaccurate there is no spa, the bbq was so rusty we could not use it. The pillows are so lumpy you could not sleep on them. Only two beds were made up for us despite there being 4 people. The listing didn’t say you share the location with the owner.“

„Loved the central location within easy walking distance to the estuary, walkway on the ridge with great views and handy to Wood St shops with groceries, coffee and a range of eateries. A basic kiwi bach but appreciated the full kitchen and good-sized frig/freezer for self catering and the comfortable beds.“

„The stay was good but, the place could have done with a bit more cleaning and airing out. It smelt stale and there were cobwebs in the bedrooms. I fixed the back shower by screwing up the nut so the shower head would stay up. There was a need for better lighting in the kitchen so we replaced the missing light bulb with a bulb from the back bedroom. We left a note on the table for the owner.“

„Could do with a bit of heating investment in the form of heat pumps. The induction hob is a bit of a challenge if you've not experienced one before. Sky signal was a bit erratic at times, but we bought a Chromecast and watch Olympics via wifi. Other than that, it was a great property with stunning views and comfortable beds.“

„The parking lot is very spacious and the garbage is comfortable. Also, there was a Ruakaka stream in front of the garden, so it was good as a healing point. If there is a heat pump, it will be a recommended accommodation for four seasons that I really want to visit even in hot summer and cold winter.“
